PORTLAND, Ore. (May 21, 2013) – The Portland Trail Blazers will hold the 10th, 39th, 40th and 45th overall picks in the 2013 NBA Draft after today’s NBA Draft Lottery determined the order of the first 14 selections.

Slated at No. 10 heading into today’s lottery, the Trail Blazers affirmed an 86.97-percent chance to retain that selection.

The Trail Blazers also hold Minnesota’s 39th pick, their own 40th and Boston’s 45th pick.

The 2013 NBA Draft will be held on Thursday, June 27, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Portland has selected with the No. 10 overall pick just once in team history, taking Ron Lester out of Iowa in 1980. Lester was traded to Chicago on draft night in a package that returned Kelvin Ransey and a 1981 first round pick that Portland used to select Darnell Valentine.

The Trail Blazers selected reigning Rookie of the Year Damian Lillard with the sixth overall pick and Meyers Leonard with the 11th overall selection in the lottery during last year’s draft.
