Trail Blazers Mobile App Now Available On Android

    PORTLAND, Ore. – (March 19, 2013) The Trail Blazers official mobile app, “Trail Blazers Mobile”, is now available for Android users. The Android app, like the iPhone version released in November, offers an engaging menu of interactive options available for live-game and non-game use.

    “We are excited to include more fans in the Trail Blazers digital experience,” said Dan Harbison, Senior Director of Digital Marketing and Media. “Currently, fans have exceeded our expectations by spending an average of 23 minutes on our iPhone app, and we hope to have similar success with the Android version.”

    Trail Blazers Mobile is tailored to help fans become more involved in the Trail Blazers game time experience. Whether watching the game at home or in the Rose Garden, the app will cater to their location. Fans can check-in and inform other users where they are watching the game. Upon checking in, users will be entered to win Trail Blazers tickets and merchandise.

    Fans watching live television broadcasts can chat with other fans and digital hosts, and use the app as "second screen" social experiences to augment live TV viewing. Also available are live scoreboards, game stats, videos, schedules, team news, blogs, ticket purchasing options and live-streaming of trailblazers.tv shows.

    The Trail Blazers worked with DesjaLogic, LLC of Portland, a Trail Blazers partner since 2006, who used technologies from Xamarin, a San Francisco company, to create the Trail Blazers Android Mobile app.
