Hope you're right CT, as that puts the team average well over 120/gm.  I'll take it.  Personally, my focus will be on what Portland is giving up per game.  Defense.

My hope is for this TEAM to average a W...at the very least.

    Lillard 17.6

    Batum 13.1

    Matthews 12.8

    Lopez 8.2

    Williams 10.6

    Crabbe .6

    Claver .9

    Freeland .8

    Robinson 4.4

    Offensive Avg 106

I think a few of you are way over estimating Beyond has us at 110.5 to 118, CT has us at a crazy 128 per and myself included at 106 is probably too high. Remember last years leader was Denver at 106.15 then Houston at 105.95.

I am going to be optimistic for once though although Bdawg at 103 or Siccolo are probably closer to the actual numbers.

Cmeese this is based on player stats, not team stats. A player could have 16 one game and 7 another. Those stats don't mean that they're going to average 127 points per game, that's ridiculous. So based on that math Denver would've average 129 points last year? When in reality they averaged 105 points. That's team stats. Stats change for players they aren't constant.

Yes Denver was the highest at 106, my mistake, but if you add up the player individual player totals in points they would've averaged 129 points per game based on that logic.

makes sense except it requires for people to miss significant amounts of time and I did not want to do that. My base numbers were more in line with hoping the rotation stayed in tact for 82 games but it is good to see you are not just whimsically throwing out numbers.

+1 Abarrer. Nice to see someone actually thinks and does research.

    LA - 21

    Dame - 20

    Batum - 16

Wes - 10 (Smaller role since we have more scorers now)

    Lopez - 10

    CJ - 10

    Dorell Wright - 7-8

    T Rob - 7-8

    Meyers - 10

    Barton - 5.

These are all ballpark numbers, and while the individual numbers might change, I think the team numbers will be the same. We had one of the best offences in the league (I think I read THE BEST) after Maynor came, so with a legit backup PG and MORE SCORERS, how could we not be a top notch offence again?

I am a fan of Raymond Felton. Haha, seriously though I'm a fan of Batum's Lobs and JJ's Slams.

    Ok here’s me my take:

#1 Player avg. for the coming season

    LA- 20

    Lillard 18

Batum 15 (easily done & only want 15 because I want strong #’s elsewhere, he averaged 14.3 through injuries)

    Matthews 13

    Lopez 9

    Williams 9

    McCollum 7

    Wright 12

    Leonard 8

    Crabbe < 1

    Claver 5

    Freeland 5

Robinson 5 (don’t want him to try to do too much on O, I want him to b a defensive beast!)

    Player average total= ~127          Team average total= 101.5

#2 Player avg. for the coming season that I’d like to REALISTICALLY c

LA- 18 (- because I don’t want him to get worn out)

Lillard 16 (- because I don’t want him to get worn out & I want those assists up & defense up)

    Batum 15

Matthews 9 (- because I want him to b OUR Tony Allen that CAN hit 3’s)

    Lopez 9

Williams 8 (but he’ll avg. 9 because he’ll have to take up some slack from others)

McCollum 11 (+ THIS would make for a successful rookie season IMO)

Wright 15 (+ his best season @ GS was a 16.4 avg., I think he can do that w/ us)

    Leonard 8

    Crabbe  3 (+ I wouldn’t call this “successful” but I’d b ok w/ this)

    Claver 7

    Freeland 5

    Robinson 5

    Player average total= 129          Team average total= 101.5

@ Tobyus Sanchezo, I believe 10 of our guys (some aren't there just yet but the yr. after this 1...) can/r capable of such but there aren't enough minutes to go around to allow for even 7 to average double digits.

In my list above (& other ppl's lists too), we left out Watson & Will.  Watson I think will average <1pt & Will is gonna get 5 (IF given the time, I think Will is capable of an avg. of 8pts though; I'm also bringing Claver's avg. back down to 5 but if given the time, he would avg. 7 ;)  Also w/ the Will factor, that helps Mo-dub out enough to where he can REALLY b mostly a distributor; so I'm gonna take Mo's avlg. down to 7.

NOW the player avg. total is ~131  & team avg. total is more like 102.25 :)  So ppl will ask, "do u believe Por. has a better player avg. than Den. had last yr.?"  YES!  I DO believe this! :)  Is our scoring avg. going to b better than Denver's was last yr.?  No, I don't believe so but we ARE MUCH improved in SO MANY areas this yr. & points is just 1 of those areas (hence ALSO my reason for our team avg. not being ~106 like Den; this is not necessarily a bad thing; the ONLY thing that counts is that we just CONSISTENTLY have more pts v. opponents ;)

I'm going with the lazy prediction of 8 pts more than the opposing team collectively the majority of the time. Yeah, I know. I like a team that has different leading scorers night in and night out, keeps the other teams guessing. (This is maybe my first "moda colored glasses post")
