Ok,I get it,this topic isnt about the blazers much, but lets face it,our team isnt playing,so we can either speculate on what might happen or discuss some other things around the nba. This guy Mark jackson making ludacris statements like this is silly.I mean Drexler and Porter would smoke them if they were in their prime, and honestly I think Drexler and Porter were one of the better backcourts.Porter was a very Underrated PG who averaged as much as 21 ppg, captained a team that made the conferance finals 3 years in a row, torched John Stockton in the 1992 conferance finals, and had to run up against point guards like magic johnson, kevin johnson, tim hardaway and john stockton amoung others. I hate when such amazing praise is given to players who have been in the league such a short period of time, players need to earn their dues and nowadays it seems like they just annoint players superstars before they even accomplish anything. I mean the game before last,Andre Miller shredded their backcourt for 28 points.

Yeah I like what you brought up Chloe. Have to say though, Andre Miller has been playing in this league for 15 years, and his game hasn't changed a bit. He is in my opinion at least, the smartest player ever. I love his game. Just based purely on smarts and skill, not athleticism. Curry and Thompson are my favourite current backcourt, and I think they are one of the best, but not THE best. Not by a long shot.

I am a fan of Raymond Felton. Haha, seriously though I'm a fan of Batum's Lobs and JJ's Slams.

I think you read wrong Chloe he said that Curry and Thompson are the best shooting back court in NBA history and after the year they had and the performance they had in game 2 it's hard to argue because they shot the hell out of that ball this year, I think Mark Jackson is smart enough to not go there and say that there the best back court in history he would of got rip to shreds by his peers and the media.

He should at least give them a couple more years before saying something like that because Curry has to prove if he isn't as injury prone as he use to be he has been on the right track this year and if he keeps it up and stay healthy I can't see why they can't go down as the best shooting back court in NBA history.

Yeah,my Buddy hit me up the other morning when I was leaving my BF's and told me,best backcourt in history or whatever, best shooting backcourt in history, yeah thats alittle different, but I think as time goes by people forget. I mean the shooting performance Terry Porter put on against john stockton in the 1992 western conferance finals was amazing. I mean its also about the stage you perform on. yes the denver game was big,but its only game 2 of the first round i think its alittle crazy to say that.Especially when you consider in game 2 they werent even the starting backcourt,Jarret jack started in the backcourt and I believe Klay thompson was at the 3.  Also im pissed we traded Andre miller to Denver for raymond felton,i mean what a dumb ass trade. nobody, none of my friends down here all laugh at the blazers and basically think were never gonna spend any money to win, when I tell people im a blazer fan i normally get met with laughter and that really sucks. But im still hangin onto the fact that Clyde and Porter were one of the best backcourts ever, alot of people dont pay attention cause it happened in portland,a backcourt like that playing in a city like Philly,Los angeles,or new york woulda been pumped up.

He has an argument for them being the best backcourt in TODAY's game. Not sure about "all time."
