Last night was a good sign of things to come. Great to see Claver starting with Sasha. Great to see Nolan play an almost perfect game, very few mistakes. Been waiting for guys to step up off the bench and it was good to see. I've been a Sasha fan for a long time and I think he showed fans why we signed him. The D league primer for Victor seemed to get him going to. Haven't seen Stotts look so happy since we beat the Lakers! Go Blazers!

.277 FG% as a team without LA and JJ going 7-7 (why does JJs shooting numbers sound so familiar, and delicious?)

It is undeniable, that Blazers "bench" shot horrible.  But I really liked the effort in several other aspect of the game.  Victor looked like he can ball, getting aggressive as luke has on the boards and defense. I don't know when he gets that oppotunity if not for both Wes and Batum being out versus a bad Raptor team playing the 2nd of a back 2 back.  The thing I love about this team is they all work hard.  Stotts has nothing but good things to say about the effort he's getting and the attitude of the players whether he's sending them to the D-League, or asking them to put in 42 minutes (SASHA!).  To say that this is a process is an extreme understatement.

Dame shot bad too, looked like maybe it was the shaky unconfidence from the prvious loss that kicked in, who knows. But yeah River Claver looked real confident and had a presence about him, definitely played very well even though the rock wasn't falling. Not to mention I've been a big fan of Sasha too (I live in NH remember so I see a little too much of the Celtic's, but loved him even when he was there). Good to see we're seein eye to eye.

I liked Meyers gettin involved on the boards and near the rim as well, pus he was having some great rotations (if not great, at least better than before) off of picks.

AND Babbit's two hand dunk!! Who woulda known
Nolan shut me up, as has Babbit been, now let's see if they can keep it goin! *Fingers Crossed*

Sometimes I think bricking 20 3ptrs in that game was a good thing. A wake up call to young guys who like to jack up 3s..Damian included. I like that we scored inside and most of all I like that the bench players played defense. I think that game also gave Stotts some confidence in bench players as well.

I loved the Pavlovic block against the Spurs tonight. It was kind've a game changing moment. Because the Spurs were on a run there in the 4th, and Sasha came out of nowhere and just straight Mutumbo'd somebody. The Spurs were like, "omg, that dude is crazy!"

I can't say enough about Sasha's value to our bench. He is a work horse and has such good court vision.

Glad we agree on Sasha, so undervalued considering he's been tossed around the league like a rag-doll. Let's give him a home here..
