    Being blown out by the worst defensive team in the league was humbling. Lillard had 4 turnovers and 1 assist at halftime, Lamarcus had 6 pts and 5 boards by halftime. I think Leonard had one board. Who's going to rebound the ball when JJ is out? We were quickly in the penalty each quarter and Gortat was pretty much foul free all night...I think he ended with 2 fouls. In retrospect I would've started Jeffiries and brough Leonard off the bench. I would've played Sasha and Price more minutes as well as Claver. The Wizards would've beat us last night. I hope the team is watching a lot of film of this game because it was worse than lethargic. Yeah..we're going to lose some games this year but this was not just a loss, it was the worst Blazer effort I've seen in years!

    If one of our starters is out game or if not 100% we are going to be in a bad spot. Claver should not be playing over Sasha or Babbit!!!!!!!!!

    Also Aldridge is pissing me off watching him play. All he does is take JUMPERS!! WTF 

    When the jumpers are not going on for him what is he going to do!! FML lol


    If Aldridge would get back in the post this team would be so much better. He can even rebound anymore!


    Im now regretting drafting Leonard. I wish we never drafted him!

    Surely you jest siccolo. Leonard had his rookie handsful with Gortat. I thought he did well for a 20 year old thrust into the fire of starting  against a seasoned vet. He certainly isnt why we lost. I dont know who was playing pf last night but it certainly wasnt LaMarcus Aldridge. What took the winf out of our sails last night was at the beginning of the third quarter, the Suns came out and hit back to back threes. Dispicable defense that whole quarter as a matter of fact. The only good thing i got from the game was that we might have stumbled upon another experiment to entertain. Maybe Leonard should start, and JJ can come in and give our bench whats sorely been lacking... a presence.If you want to truly be pissed, be pissed at the domino effect of last nights unraveling. How one guy being down can effect the production of the whole squad is unacceptable. The blessing is that its still early enough in the season to work out some fixable kinks.

    I agree about LA but it's where terry Scotts has him playing... Not necessarily where or how LA wants to play. Part of me wonders if they are playing LA up top like that is to prevent him from banging down low and re-injurying his hip. I don't know that he'll even make an all star spot this year playing him up top like that but if its to preserve him for now then move him back down later in the season that may make sence. All I know is this young team with another low draft pick and a good pick up on the FA board next summer is what its gonna take to make this team able to compete in the playoffs. Not to mention an entire makeover on the bench.

    I hope Olshey is thinking of a master plan. Im not an expert on cap space so i'll stay in my lane, but we had better make something happen.

    Yeah I  was just angry at the team. Leonard did do well besides his post D.

    Yeah Leonard should start then we could sign Chris Douglas Roberts or Pietrus

    I think we should sign Pietrus to a one year deal or a one year with team option. He would provide good offense off the bench behind Batum and finally give us some bench production.

    I don't think our problem is stotts or the roster as much as our defensive coach at this point. We're 27th in the league in defense and I hold Kaleb accountable for that stat. Watching practice film I see him rebounding free throws on the court...he has a position that he might not be best suited for given that he spent countless hours working with Nolan and Luke....we've seen the results. We need a great defensive assistant coach to compliment Stotts offensive game.

    To be clear about what you're saying with LA's game being up top instead of down low... that's by LaMarcus's choice, and Stotts has simply encouraged it.

     

    Without a doubt it's going to be one of the biggest hurdles facing this team, because if your All-Star lead player isn't efficient, how can the rest of your team be?

    LA took the night off.  He was arguably worse on defense than Leonard, and against a 1st time starter.  He had zero block, zero steals, and 7 boards... to speak nothing of going 5-15 on offense.  I think he'll have a stonger game vs Love, and actually get up to play this time.

    I don't think LAs wrist is healed yet and he's played 3-4 games with it sore. Shooting hand but he still didn't have a good game. As far as defensive coaches we need an upgrade at assistant..Kaleb is not impressing me in that role so far..maybe I'm being impatient with Hughes as a big man coach. I'll bet Mike Brown would like a job about now and he's known for his defense. As an assistant we need that guy to teach players to lock down the paint and we're getting killed in the post.
