I have no clue if anyone in the Blazers organization will actually read this, but from what I have read all over the internet, Phil Jackson wants to be a part of the organization. I think that they should let him in, Larry Bird turned around the pacers, why cant Phil do the same for Portland? We are in a transition year and bringing in some quality experience would do wonders for the young team. I have read numerous times that he does not want to be coach, let him be president and assistant coach. That way, he can still mentor the team and also be behind the scenes and not have to be in the media. It's a win for Portland in two ways, a big name to bring in tickets and a big name that will make players want to play here.
So the question is, why not?

Ditto. However, its just a matter of whether these prima donnas can get along. If its truly about a team concept, than there shouldnt be a problem. I think PJ would be better suited as an Assistant to Brian Shaw though.

Hope we get him. And hope we get Shaw. Also hope Jackson can work well with Olshey. :)

The problem with JJ remains the same at the 4 or 5 he is just not a good enough defender. Milsap and especially Smith are good defenders. The also both offer more on the offensive side than JJ does.

Exactamundo. Seriously though, both of you''ll are right. The blame should be placed on the attacker, not Lillard. That being said, Dame should have stepped in.

Sanders is 6''11" Cailin he is about 5 pounds lighter than LA so his size should not be an issue.

I completely agree. Pierce would bring a culture change. And we as a team really needed someone to help our young players through the tough times. Jeffires and Pavlovic were veterans who didn''t see much court time and from what I saw didn''t real...

Joakim Noah has had his injury troubles. His crazy game and high energy make him a constant injury threat. What separates him from Oden and Rose (I had to just mention him) is his willingness to play the way he loves.
