I Hate both of these teams, but Love Basketball so I will watch and hope LBJ doesn't get that ring, so by default I will root for OKC and our division.
    What about you?
OKC in 7 because they are too fast in transition and Miami is slow to get back on D at times.

I think almost the same: don't like both teams and love to watch and play basketball. Thunder win it in 6 this is my type and then hope to see strong Blazers next season !

I like OKC... Although nobody else on this site seems to like them. I think/hope they are going to make it in 6 or 7. Since I saw Durant playing on the world championship in turkey I like this player and have a lot of respect for him (he is just 23!).
Okc is a small town and their fans are nearly as loud as the trailblazers fans. Serge Ibaka is the best living shotblocker. Brooks is a great and sympathic coach.
Enough reasons to like them and really hope that they will beat the shit out of arrogant James and the overpaid heat. I deeply hate miami and hope that they will never get the championship with such a roster. Basketball is a team game (!) like in europe and should not be such a stupid superstar show as it is in the u.s. espescially in miami.

Why does everybody hate lebron? Its like if you had a job but there was no possibility of getting promoted or paid more, or you can go to another job with a very good chance of higher pay and a promotion. Lebron left clevand because there was no way that the Cavs were going to win a championship any time soon. At this point hes been very succesful. In clevland he made it to the finals one time out of how many years like 7? Cmon hes a great player that puts a ton of work into the game of basketball. Get over it haters because hes just making you look bad.

I say The heat in 6 although  it would be better if they won in 5 on their home floor.

Dear Jake I have to answer  ! I inform You this is site http://www.iamatrailblazersfan.com not LBJ fan site so please can we talk about Blazers players or Who Should Portland pick in Draft ?  and not about Lebron. He is very good player but ... , I am fan of Portland Trail Blazers and team basketball play  and not trio superstars from Miami: LBJ, Wade and Bosh. Basketball is game for 5 players teams not for 3 !!!

    GO BLAZERS !!!

I'm guessing the Heat. Probably in 5 because of the dumb 2-3-2 format. I don't think OKC can win in Miami, and they already lost one at home.

Which brings me to a wonderful thought I had today: why are the finals not like the Super Bowl? I realize that one game is very different than a best-of-7 series, but I think all 7 games should be played in a neutral arena (season ticket holders don't get tickets to the finals anyway, so it's not taking anything away from the loyal fans).

The home court advantage is based on the regular season, which really doesn't apply after 3 rounds of post-season play. And the lower-seeded team gets the advantage of a 3-game home stand in the middle of the series. It should at least be 2-2-1-1-1, but I think it would be even better if teams competed in a different city every year, and were able to rest without traveling between games. I think we would see better quality championship basketball if this change were instituted. Thoughts?

I think the road team is at a more disadvantage with the schedule because it's very hard to win 3 straight games against any team let alone a finals team.

Was this season arranged?! Arranged by the NBA. For better marketing of LeBron and the Heat. For example: ehy did they have special camera-point-pfview-shots on NBA-tv at during the season only for the heat but not for the opponents?! What the f...?!
Many basketball fans in europe think this way. Why is nobody discussing the dubious calls of the referees in media? If somebody of the players or choaches critizises the referees he has to pay 15.000 - 25.000 $. Is this freedom of expression?!
Unfortunatly the NBA has the monopol on the best bsketball in the world... so the motto is: eat what you get or die.

    LET`S GO BLAZERS!!!

p.s. other example of stupidity of the nba:the all star game! What should this be?? a hollywood movie maybe but not a competition of sport. opium for the masses... I`d like to vomit!

Wow, wanderer. I actually agree with you, but I'll hold back the vomit for now.

One thing I think is ironic is that everyone is defending Lebron. Literally... EVERYONE is defending Lebron. You always hear "well, critics say [this] about Lebron, but I disagree." I want to know who the critics are, because the entire NBA broadcasting world has a crush on him. I think the only people that don't praise or defend Lebron are the fans that believe in loyalty and team basketball (myself included). The Heat's championship will not end the conversations from the "critics."

My biggest concern is that money and fame have too much influence on the game, and these finals were a clear sign of that. I forget who said it, but there was a comment about Dwight and/or Chris Paul going to the Lakers that said most teams in the NBA are at risk of becoming the Washington Generals. It's not far from the truth. It saddens me that large franchises and superstar players get an unfair advantage in talent brought to their team and unbalanced officiating.

I think the reason Lillard says he likes McCollum is because their games are so similar. How can you not like CJ McCollums game. For real Im on the trade LA for the Wizards #3 pick bandwagon, then draft Noel, or trade it, or maybe get DeAndre Jord...

What happens if we don''t win? Dwight will start his nonsense, we would be out a lot of money, and with no real talent to show for it. San Antonio and Memphis is proof that you don''t need superstars to win.
