Rondo would be a great pickup for us, not sure we can get him for a pick and Mathews. Actually I'm a fan of keeping Mathews and the Rhino for defense and scrap. Rhino could backup LA and Hickson. Not a Kamen fan either. We need a banger in the post. Al Jefferson, Roy Hibbert, Joel Freeland would be better fits for us.

the fact that boston can offer D williams a max contract makes rondo tradeable, think doc would want  batum in the deal, think portland's pick 11 and batum for rondo if they trade for williams would make total sense,

the master plan for me- sign eric gordon- 13 mil insured if possible
    batum qualifying offer 5.4 mil
    offer brook lopez 8-10 million
    jj hickson 6 million
    priz- 1 mil
    draft H barnes
ray allen- low as possible for shooting off bench try for 4 mil if not do not sign
    cj miles for 8
then match batum- using his rights so we are aloud to go over cap

    cap looks like this
    smith-1
    batum-5.4/ mathes-6.5/elliot 2
    h barnes 2/ cj miles-9
    LA-14/hickson-6
    lopez-10/priz-1

obviously there is wiggle room to pay each player more or go after 1 more player- but the numbers total of 57
mil as I have it- another team will offer batum 10 mil- but because we have his rights in a restricted free agency- we can match if we make him a qualifying offer and go over the cap- taking this into consideration- if someone offers him 10 at this point, we can be 62 million

if boston has offered d williams a max deal, you can bet they want 2 things- a sg and a pick or center- think boston would trade rondo for Portland's 11 pick, batum, and a future pick or 2 second rd picks- gives boston youth and flexibility and the blazer lineup look like this

    rondo/smith
    gordon.mathews. williams
    cj miles/ h barnes/ babbit
    La/hickson
    lopez/priz

at this point I would not mind packaging  players together for 1 more star/ near star player- candidates for trade- babbit/hickson/mathews/lopez   portland should have in there sights- iggy, granger, galanari, al jefferson, cousins

I rather give Batum 8-9 million than CJ Miles. CJ is good, but he's not worth that much. Since, we talking about PG's. What you guys think about Goran Dragic? Proved, he is pretty good and Portland can easily get him for a good amount a year. I dont know a 4 year/ 20 mill, something like that.

Im leaning towards the JamSmashers theory. If we cant have J.Harden,CJ Miles is a pretty good lefty runner up. Im not all that in love with either of the Lopez Bros.. unless we can have them both. They seem to feed off of eachother. Rondo, definitely,Goran,i can live with that, but George Hill and Eric Gordon in the backcourt sounds damned delicious. For some reason im higher on Jeremy Lamb than i am Barnes, but the jury is still out on the both of them.

Well, the lottery is tomorrow, so fingers crossed. What my issue is, is that why would the Bucks trade away one of their best players, and potential DPOY for many years to come, for Nic Batum and a bunch of picks in a weak draft?

Blaser, Fab Melo had 14 blocks in the D-League, you want him? Noel has good instincts, but he is waaay to weak to go up against NBA bigs. Like I said before, Deron Williams weighs more than him. He as already had a knee injury, and we know how tha...
