Elliot Williams Out For Remainder of Season

    Bad news on the injury front for up-and-comer Elliot Williams. After dislocating his shoulder during a workout in Boston, the rookie will miss the rest of the season. From Trail Blazers PR:

    Portland guard Elliot Williams will undergo surgery on Friday, March 30 to repair his left dislocated shoulder capsule.  The surgery will be performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles  Williams will miss the remainder of the season. 

    All injuries are a bummer, but this one particularly hurts considering Elliot was in line to get some serious minutes under interim head coach Kaleb Canales.

    Damn this kid can't catch a break he was definitly one of the few bright spot of the season get well EW work hard and you will be back better than ever to help this team your part of the future.

    He's the Blazer's X factor this season. Hope Hickson can click with the team. Elliot was the spark to get into the playoffs. Batum is not looking good since the changes...what's up with that?

    The problem with JJ remains the same at the 4 or 5 he is just not a good enough defender. Milsap and especially Smith are good defenders. The also both offer more on the offensive side than JJ does.

    Sanders is 6''11" Cailin he is about 5 pounds lighter than LA so his size should not be an issue.
