okies, i'm going to throw this out there ... as far as the current roster stands, any predictions on how the 2011-12 pan out for the guys? pick one player and make a prediction.

    I'll start:

Greg Oden - will return to the blazers, play in 64 games; and average 11.8 points  9.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocksin 26 minutes per game. he will earn his starting position in late-december/early-february.

    what's your prediction?

i would predict B-Roy  returns healthy and rested and ready to lead this team next season he will play at most 70 games & bring his average up to about 16-18 ppg (20 if were lucky), 3/4 Rebs , & maybe 1 or 2 Blks

He will also have to earn his starting spot back , i  think he will Receive it back 9-14 games into the regular
    season

if rudy fernandez  returns i predict he will still be a 6th man but he will also step up his game

    10/15 ppg , 5/6 rebs , 2 blks,

    Right..
    LaMarcus Aldridge:
The team will find a nice backup for him and he will be more fresh throughout the entire season and will average about 27 ppg, 11 rpg, 5 assists and 1.5 blocks.

He will be named to the all-star game.

LaMarcus Aldridge will be named to the All-Star team, All-NBA 2nd Team and will lead us out of the first round of the playoffs.

The aliens from Space Jam will steal Lebron James powers (& knees) and give them to Brandon Roy...
It's not bad to dream is it? LOL

Andre Miller: Same statistics, new year, come on... It's Dre.
Wesley Matthews: Will improve as every young player does, will average 17-18 ppg.
Gerald Wallace: His game has been revitalized in Portland, will average 15-16 ppg while terrorizing other wings with his defensive prowess.
Lamarcus Aldridge: 22-23 ppg, 8-9 rpg. Will firmly grasp the role of team leader.
Greg Oden: I have a feeling he doesn't want to be here, but if he does stay. 9 ppg, 9 rpg, 1 bpg. I'd expect more, but you have to remember it will take him time to learn to trust his body.

    Rudy Fernandez: Bye bye!
Nicolas Batum: This guy is talented, but unless he develops a motor like Derrick Rose and puts up 1000 shots a game and develops the mass amount of potential he has, he needs to go while his stock is decent.
Marcus Camby: He's Marcus Camby, when a shot bounces off the iron, don't even waste your time jumping, he's already there.
MY GUY BRANDON ROY: Hopefully he'll accept a role as a bench player, and come up big in crunch time like Horry.

    Conclusion: Western Conference Semi-finals defeat.

Spelling error on my previous post for Nicolas Batum: I meant 100 shots A DAY, not A GAME LOL

i am going to say that Gerald Wallace is the most valuable player of this team in the next season.
he will outplay aldridge and Broy and his problems will remain in his shadow......

i vote no on Prop Greg.

At this point it's championship or FAILURE in my book.  If the Mavs could win, we could win too.  Alright, maybe not Championship or failure, but 2nd round AT LEAST or failure.  All I know is these last playoffs felt like a huge missed opportunity.

Greg returns healthy.  Roy develops into a solid player.  Wallace leads the team on defense, in which everyone improves.  LaMarcus continues to be in MvP talks. Wesley and Batum being good scorers.  Dre, as someone posted, produces the same stats.  We likely trade Camby before the deadline assuming Pendergraph and Greg can play solid minutes.  Nate gets fired and Rick Adelman takes over the reigns.

    We are all healthy,all season....
We move Rudy,Babbitt, Cambys contract, and the second round pick to move up in the draft and get Kemba,or Burc. With our 21st pick we pick up Faried.

Greg Oden stays, starts slow but becomes a starter and begins to play like the first pick we expected, Dre is moved on draft night, Blazers select Kenneth Faried, LaMarcus isn't snubbed this time and gets his All Star spot, Roy's health returns and plays off the bench like he did in Game 4 vs. Mavericks, Nic gets more confidence and becomes a scorer, and Gerald Wallace is named to All NBA Defense and scores the ball well

Kenneth Faried is proabably not going any higher than #18. Its not worth it to trade up to target him. Remember this guy is 6'8". As intense as he is, every other center in the league can reach above him - his effectiveness wont be what people think it is in the NBA compared to tiny-college moorehead state.

why would this team need another person at that height????
did they not learn their lesson with Babbit?

btw, i am calling Babbit out.....and off the team, included in whatever trade is made by portland.....if they ever make one
