    1. Tim Duncan- He was amazing last year 18-10 2.7 blocks and a near 25 PER still doing things at his age is unreal.

    2. Kevin Love- He gets this rank only if he stays healthy.

    3. Blake Griffin- Improving every year, and his passing is very underrated.

    4. Lamarcus Aldridge- Needed to be more efficient last year can jump to number if he can be a 20-10 guy and shoot 50%.

    5. David Lee- Double Double machine and a terrible excuse for a defender.

    6. David West- He has been doing his thing for years and still getting it done at a high level.

    7. Josh Smith- His defense and athletic ability put him higher but his poor decisions keep him down.

    8. Dirk Nowitski- he needs to be healthy for the Mav's to be relevant.

    9. Chris Bosh- his rebounding has all but disappeared leaving him a great shooting big man but a big who does not rebound is not much of a big at all.

    10. Zach Randolph- I hope last year was just a down year and we see the dominant 20-10 guy re-emerge.

Remember rank them how they are and not on potential.

I agree with everything you posted, even swallowed my tongue when you said Gallo was better than Nico, but Blake better then LMA? From a Blazer fan to boot. How is he better than LMA, and don't say passing.

I am a fan of Raymond Felton. Haha, seriously though I'm a fan of Batum's Lobs and JJ's Slams.

I think LA has the ability to draw him self out of games with his over reliance on long jumpers. Griffin is an excellent passer and his jumper is getting better, but his willingness to play in the post and hammer down vicious dunks makes him dangerous. Sure I am little concerned his rebounding went down but I believe he took a step back to make the team better.

Personally though I only dinged LA for his significant shooting percentage decline. Like I said if he goes 20-10 and shoots back over 50% he is potentially number 1.

Griffin's passing is very good for a big man but hardly excellent. And Lamarcus Aldridge is THE BEST post passer out there. Griffin is willing to play in the post but is not very good there so how is that a good thing? If he had a complete power forward game AND could pass to boot I would call him good, but if he doesn't really rebound well anymore, and can still pretty much only dunk what's the point of good passing? Horrible free throw shooter as well.

If you look at the numbers, LMA has better percentages in EVERYTHING (Jump shots, hooks, layups, tips) except dunks where Griffin has around 150 more than LMA, being the NBAs best Dunker.

Also his free throws attempted has gone down by 3 a game since his rookie season and he still almost exclusively plays near the basket.

I am a fan of Raymond Felton. Haha, seriously though I'm a fan of Batum's Lobs and JJ's Slams.

I understand not liking Griffin but leaving him out of the top 10 entirely.

If you look at the stats he beats LA in almost every category, especially when advanced stats like Win Share, Rebounding Rate, Efficiency ratings like Offense and Defense Ratings and PER.

LA is a much better free throw shooter, he is also a much better shooter from 10-23 feet. He turns the ball over less as well although. Defensively he gets more blocks as well and IMO plays better defense.

However, Griffin is the better passer and rebounder, he gets more steals, gets to the free throw line more often, and despite being a below average FT shooter actually has a higher true shooting percentage than LA.

Like him or hate him the numbers suggest Griffin has been the better player.

I would probably take LA over Griffin most days of the week but when looking at the raw data I have to give Griffin his due, which is why I am shocked he is missing from so many of your lists.

head to head, LaMarcus schools Griffin anyday. I think he's a poster boy and way overrated, don't think he's a great passer either and he loses out of the top ten for his lack of defensive skills and decision making on the court. I felt bad about leaving Garnett off the list though. Griffin is a high light reel. Putting him above Zac Randolph or any number of PFs is a disservice in my book. I think LaMarcus is the best in the league, having him at 4 ...well, that I don't understand but it's all good

I do not think Love is a good defender either but if you look at most of the defensive metrics available sadly Love ranks higher than LA does.
