What is Doolittle thinking (or smoking)?

He has Batum in Top 5 SF and does not even project LMA as a top 10 PF in the NBA.

Based on his logic, why are we looking to trade LMA when Batum has more value?

How they put Ibaka in there I just dont get... Griffin had a down year too and had so many injuries that he may pick  again because of his style of play. These projections arent very accurate. LA is top 10 if not Top 5

LaMarcus gets very little respect from the media. He also gets very few minutes in allstar games. Another reason he will probably play here past his current contract.

Aldridge is EASILY top 5 if not top 3, just because of this "range of pf style" which I really don't buy. A stretch 4 is a stretch 4, not a pf. I feel like that would be the easiest distinction to clear up these different players.

Either way, Aldridge is easily top 5 or better. This guy is crazy.

Doolittle needs to go around and ask the other 29 coaches in the league which PFs they hate to match up against. When 90% of them say LaMarcus, maybe you'll get a clue who the best forwards are. And get LeBron and Melo off that list; they're small ball 4s not true PFs.

Last year, Steve Kerr said LA was the best PF in the league. Most of the other NBA/TNT guys said he was crazy and Kerr came back with, "There's only one guy besides LeBron averaging over 20 points and 8 rebounds, and that's Aldridge." No respect. But as long as LA leaves it all on the court, I don't really care where he's ranked. Blazers will be winning games.

Steve Kerr is my favorite analyst in the NBA. LaMarcus is home in Portland. Here he's the alpha guy. He's been ignored by the stars and journalists for a long time. I think he prefers it that way. Quiet demeanor and not full of himself. Humble. In LA's exit interview he talked about getting better what he needs to work on. In my view he's the best PF in the world and very much on the path of Tim Duncan who's 10 years older than LA. LaMarcus is special and anyone who doesn't value that just doesn't have an eye for detail

i dont get why everyone is so hype on griffin?

shooting from any where in the floor aldridge > griffin

    soft touch aldridge > griffin

back to the basket moves aldridge > griffin

attitude and poise aldridge > griffin

    overall manliness aldridge > griffin

cheating by hitting the ball after every possession so your team can get back on defense before the ball is in-bounded which should be delay of game but kia paid the league off griffin > aldridge

jumping over the bumper of a kia griffin > aldridge

uncoordinated looking buffoon griffin > aldridge

class and sophistication aldridge > griffin

    it;s really no contest

    ^Hahahahaha^

I'm just waiting for when Griffin's hops go. LaMarcus will be like Tim Duncan because he actually learned how to play basketball. Griffin will be tossed around on 1-year MLE deals for the last 6 years of his playing days.

Here, let be spend money to get an opinion from ESPN Insider. Maaan, ain't no way I'm droppin' chedder on folks that want extra money for their valued opinion. I'd rather listen to our local sports reporters. They do a great job around here, and ask for nothing but a listening ear.

guaranteed if Aldridge played elsewhere, he'd get all the recognition in the word. just seems that the Trail Blazers in general get no recognition. unless of course you wanna talk about the "jail-Blazers" lol. I hate the fact that only few reporters and analysts go out on a limb and talk about the projections of an awesome Trail Blazers team, rather, they talk about all the flaws and possible games dumped by the Blazers.

    Cut Portland some slack!!

I think the whole list is bogus but the cherry on top was putting Anthony Davis in the top 5. He didn't even win the rookie of the year award, if I remember correctly...

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
