So supposedly Iggy is looking to opt out of his contract with Denver. Yes I know, I'm sure he is looking for a contender for a championship but what do you think? Iggy becomes a blazer?

Would love that, but no. We already pay Batum a truckload of money, no need to add Iggy who plays the same position. We could move Wesley to the bench, but signing Iggy would mean not enough money to get a good defensive big, meaning we have to draft one, meaning we have another big man project.

if leonard is really getting stronger about his rebound and his defense like he been saying then i see no need to add a other big man. iggy could come if he want to be a part of the next greatest team and play with damian lillard and teach him defense

I am a fan of Damian Lilard leading us to a title and MVP to him, LA and MEYERS

Plenty of people have been saying to trade batum. Why not work the phones, trade him for a decent big and go after iggy?

He would take more then all our coveted salary cap room.

Therefore we are pushed to believe we must pass on Iguodala. He's too good to be a Blazer.

Yeah his shot is back to it's normal bad self, and he can't score like his Philly days.

Iggy is giving up 15.9m to enter the free agent condition.  He would take all of our cap room and would put an end to our playing the field.  Lets allow some other team to sign him and put themselves out of the free agent market so we have less competition.

I would say make him a low 3-4 years deal and see if he bites if not move on, no harm throwing the dog a bone

sign Iggy for 8-9M, Batum at the two, and Wesley off the bench! Draft Steven Adams (who loves contact, grew up playing rug-bee). Sounds NICE!

Thanks Siccolo! I just couldn't take the way this season was going so I needed a bit of a hiatus. But how much more do you really think Iggy is going to demand? Yes, he is pricey, yet if we traded Batum for a quality big or at least bigger body then we would be able to sign Iggy and still deal with our issues. I truly feel like our main problem right now is defense and not necessarily offense with Damian and LA able to get it going. I also wouldn't mind finding a more viable option at the 2 spot since I feel like Wesley just isn't quite the player we need to get over the hump. I see him as more of a quality 6th man.

I dont care if we get Iggy as long as we trade either Batum or Matthews for a really good Center. Iggy will get around 8-11 million a year.

Iggy handles the rock better than Batum. Id keep Batum at the 3 and let Iggy play the 2. Talk about a big back court. I like Adams too. He may be a beast.I cant wait to see how all of this plays out. 10 days til the draft.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
