    trade 3 seconds for #13

Trade Pavlovic and his expiring contract for T-rob

Trade LO for Varejo and 3 firsts

    Draft Otto Porter with #1

Offer Max to Pekovic see if Minn will match

Draft McCollum, pope, or MCW with #10

    Draft Muhammad with #13

    Sign JJ Redick and Jack

    Team would be:    Center: Pekovic/Leonard

                                PF: Vareajo/T-Rob

                                SF: Porter/Barton/ Muhammad

                                SG: Wesley,McCollum,Redick

    Center: Pekovic/Leonard

    PF: Vareajo/T-Rob

Why in the world would Cleveland give away their lottery pick and Varejao for LMA? Why would Houston trade T Rob, for Sascha Pavlovic? Why would a number 13 want 3 second rounders, even if number 13 is nothing great? And why would you want to pay Pekovic so much?

I know my ....  If this did happen I'd pick mclemore with #1  trade Wes and 10 13 for best center we could get draft Franklin with 19

    Lilliard / maynor

    Mclemore / Franklin

    Batum / claver

    T rob / brand

    Hibbert/ Leonard

But this would never happen so might as well make it crazy ...  Hibberts prob untouchable after these playoffs I'd do anything to get him offer Batum Wes and 13

you guy want to trade away LA for someone that can't even match his level of play?? LA is the best PF in the nba right now.

i would draft mccollum, southerland. with 11 million in cap. i would sign corey brewer to 4 year and 5 million per year. sign brandan wright to 3 year and 1.5 million per year. sign elton brand to 3 year and 2 million per year. sign ronnie brewer to 2 year and 1 million per year. sign o'neal to 3 year and 750k per year. sign mills to 4 year and 1 million per year.

    lillard/mccollum/mills

    wesley/brewer/barton

    batum/brewer/southerland

    aldridge/brand/freeland

    leonard/wright/o'neal

this team just need to add bench player that can produce. this is the team that will change the blazers into a dynasty forever

I am a fan of Damian Lilard leading us to a title and MVP to him, LA and MEYERS

mccollums 2.43 assists per game makes him a back up pg? wow total face palm there he isn't the ansewer to ever run an offense at any level unless he improves drastically

Cleveland wants LMA so how bad do they want him?

Houston wants to get additional cap space so they can offer D12 the max contract.

Dallas also wants to add cap space to go after D12 and second rounders do not add to use of the cap but #13 does.

I would like to see if Minn would pay the high salary to Pekovic to keep him.  Plus I think Pekovic would be a good addition to our team.

Adding one note If Houston really wants to add cap space then maybe they would be interested in trading Asik.

I am sorry I  was not clear about Batum.  I assumed Minn would be afraid they might lose Pekovic for nothing so we negotiated a deal Batum for Pekovic.  Since Batum plays SF I used the top draft pick to get Otto Porter the best small forward available.  The two other choices I would consider that would cause other changes are McLemore or Oladipo both of whom are SG's.

The trade of LMA for Vareajo and 3 first round choices is more than just a one for one trade.

Varejao is one of the best rebounders in the league, and throw in the #1 overall, and 2 other picks (don't know what you're talking about there), it's too much for Cleveland. They would lose a lot of depth and basically become this years PDX. They would be willing for Waiters/Thompson and number #1 overall. You know why they are so ready to trade the number 1 overall? Because they need someone who can impact the game right now, like we do, and theres no one like that in this draft. Noel is already injured and is going to miss the opening part of the season, and he has had multiple surgeries, on the SAME KNEE. How has that worked out for us before? Unless we can get a good defensive centre we shouldn't be talking about trading our starters, and I think we shouldn't trade LMA at all. And Varejao is one of the worst defenders.

why are so many people willing to trade LA for a handful of role players? with that logic you might as well keep jj and make him a starting PF

Exactly. You want to trade away our main scorer and rebounder, who is also a very good defender for a bunch of role players. Trade away a guy like Wes or Batum for depth, okay, but not someone like LMA.

The core stays. Draft smart and utilize the free agency to get a big. I honestly believe that we are going to find some gems in the second round if we keep the picks.

Telling me the Patty mills is better than CJ McCollum is crazy. Mills hardly gets minutes on the rotation in San Antonio. McCollum had a true shooting percentage of 63% last year. He is a legit scorer and can play off the ball as well run an offense. Blaser you must be joking if you think Mills is better than McCollum. Mills is good, but he's only good as a backup. McCollum was a star in college and led his league in scoring despite being the focus of every defense he faced. Your idea that a guy from a small school can't be a legit force in the NBA doesn't make sense.

Lillard and Faried are both huge success stories. It's about the skills and determination to get better. There have been some duds in this league who come from big D1 colleges. I think keeping the 10th pick and drafting McCollum is what we should do. We could use other pieces as trade chips to try and get a big. Or we could sign a Center in free agency. Either a vet like Dalembert or a back up like Jermaine Oneal. If we trade for a center, we must go after Hawes or Asik. Or we could get an energy guy like Birdman. Dallas may be willing to take our 3 second round picks for their 13th. We could use that to draft Cody Zeller....

Why trade claver and the 3 second rounders for Marion and the 13th pick. Draft McCollum at 10 and zeller at 13. Resign hickson as a back up pf or go after Elton brand for the remaining cap space. Hickson might have a easier time defending as a back up due to smaller players  and it will be easier to switch defenders.

    Lillard/McCollum

    wes/Barton

    batum/marion

    aldridge/ brand or hickson

    meyers/zeller

This takes a huge cap load off the mavericks in return they get an improving role player who could fit better in their system and thrive. We get shawn Marion who can rebound and play defense. Even give us a 3rd scorer off the bench behind McCollum and Barton. You could also instead of signing another 4 make freeland the official backup playing 15-18 a game. If he improved his efficiency he would could the floor spaced out even with Aldridge taking a break on the bench. Cody zeller could shoot as well. That will only help shawn Marion maintain his rebounding since he will be backing up batum. Games against like the heat you can run batum at the 2 and Marion at the 3 to help control wade and lebron. Those could also be the games where you reducefreelands minutes to play Marion at the 4 to defend bosh and have mathews defend Lebron and batum guard wade, since that seemed to work during this season. Marion provides what we need and it won't cost us much with Dallas wanting cap space for Howard.

I dont think McCollum will thrive here. I think we can draft him but would eventually have to trade him because he we have Damian....

We could always try to retain Marion and the 13th pick then use those to get oladipo or Ben mclemore. If possible
