If we can get a centre, I would trade our #10 pick for Brandon Rush in a heartbeat. Dude is a lights out shooter, a very solid, to great defender, and can finish in close. Like a more refined Wesley Matthews. Much better shooter though.

Only after we test him extensively. A torn ACL is a tough injury to bounce back from. Its more mental then anything else.

    eek

I wouldnt trade the 10th for a injured Brandon Rush. I remember being nothing more than a 3pt shooter. I fee we could do better at finding depth at the SG spot

Well he was a hell of a three point shooter, decent rebounder and a good defender. He would be cheap as well.

If we can get Rush for cheap it may be a good way to replace Elliot Williams. Williams says he wants to come back but if he comes back for another year, we should give him the minimum. Rush will come cheap and I think is a good perimeter defender but he is also more of a jump shooter at the other end. We need a guy who will attack the rim and win free throws. Rush will give us help defensively, but no variety on offense.

What about going after a combo guard who can attack off the dribble? Devin Harris of the Hawks may be a guy we could make a move for. He is quick and athletic. He can also attack off the dribble and has that great step back jumper. (maybe not great but definitely good). The Hawks may take the 10th pick and Freeland + another expiring contract for Harris and the 17th pick. We could get Dieng from that pick.

Devin Harris is a free agent, no need to trade

Well there goes that idea. If that's the case we could sign him via FA and draft Dieng. Taking him at 10 might seem a little high but that doesn't matter. He is what we need at this stage and therefore we should draft him. We know that Dieng will be on the board at 10 and if we draft him we can use most of our cap room to sign Harris or Tyreke Evans. Evans is more of a wing while Harris is a combo guard.

Brandon is getting paid 4 million this season if he chooses to opt-in to his player option. I think he would be worth checking out if he declines his option. Probably not worth the tenth pick though.

Yup Chloes right. I remember that draft, I thought Bayless was gonna be a BEAST and was hella happy when we traded for him(We traded Jarret Jack and Rush) That same draft we temporarily had Asik

Now we would be happy with Jack, Rush, Bayless, and Asik

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
