I think the key here is to figure out what Mozgov would be willing to accept as his role were he to move from Denver. Does he want to start or will he just be happy to come off the bench and provide cover to the starting C that Olshey goes after via trade. I still think we could make a move to grab Thornton and Jason Thompson from Sacramento if we package our 10th pick and one 2nd rounder with Meyers and Babbitt and Freeland. The Kings can waive Babbitt anyway and they would have a young replacement in Leonard for Thompson. They need an upgrade and while i would like for us to somehow give JJ Hickson back to them and let him go somewhere that he will get gametime, I dont see that happening.

I personally would prefer if we kept the pick and drafted CJ McCollum, but getting Thornton is an idea that appeals to me a bit more. That leaves us in a situation where we have 2 solid bench players and some cap room to go after Mozgov or Dalambert and still sign Jermaine O'neal.

Cailin Babbitt is no longer under contract so to trade him would require a sign and trade and thus requiring the Kings to keep him. Freeland is another bad contract.

Cousins is the Kings Center so having another center as the key to trading off two of their best players does not make any sense. The number 10 pick might get Thompson or it might get Thornton but not both.

My bad, I forgot that Babbitt would be out of contract. I think the 10th pick should be kept and we should try to manufacture a move for Thornton. The kings are guard heavy so I think they may just want to make a trade for Freeland and 2 second round picks. They would save a bunch of money and may be able to get more out of Joel than we could.

The Kings are 18 million under the cap they do not need to save money, unless it is sticking someone with Salmons contract.

The Kings aren't really famous for making smart roster decisions.

Well, regardless of who owns them next year, I feel that they would be looking to start fresh. If they dont want to lose Thornton they may decide not to match an offer made for Tyreke Evans. Evans is a versatile player who can play both guard spots and has the ability to run an offense when Lillard sits on the bench.

Im thinking that Evans and Matthews could be our SG combo. Evans attacks the basket and can pass better than most SG in the league. His size is also an asset because at 6'6 he can legitimately guard any of the guards we may come up against.

Phoenix will not give up their 2014 pick, it's the best draft since 03.

Some guys that are going under the radar and I feel will THRIVE at NBA level are

    Glen Rice Jr (interesting story)

    Jammal Franklin

Glen Rice has been TEARING it up in the D League. I know he willl be a stud.

Jammal Franlin went to the same school as Kahwi Leonard.

    Glen Rice during the D League Championship 29pts 11reb 4ast 3stl 3blks

Jammal Franklin in his junior year 17pts 9reb 3ast

Trade Wesly Matthews for a center if you can pick up one of these guys.

Some videos I found of these guys

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
