It's blowing up on Twitter and the reported deal is the Maloofs are selling the Kings to a Steve Balmer-Seattle based group for $500 million. The Sonics would play the first two season in Key Arena, starting this Fall and then move onto the new arena.

Here's the link: Sacramento Kings Moving To Seattle

Soooooo, what division would they be in ? Would we then take the team furthest south and move them to Sac's division ?

I guessing that if it they do move Oklahoma City & Seattle will switch divisions.  Also they might change there team's name. I am also guessing the Blazers/Sonics  rivalry will be back.

I hope they switch OKC and SEA.  Less travel.  The NW division is brutal - .576 win %.  The Pacific is at .520 win %.

Ahhh yeah...the I5 rivalry back again.  Miss the days of Kersey v Xavier.  Good times.  Both small markets benefit.  Portland has taken a hit since Seattle lost their Sonics.

Rumor I've heard today is that when Seattle gave up the franchise that became Thunder, part of the deal was that both the "Sonics" name as well as the team colors were to stay reserved for Seattle...

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

First Game starts tonight. Houston is a tough first round opponent and they play exceptionally well at home. If we can steal a game or two at their place, I feel like we have extremely good chances.

P.S. Would anybody happen to have a...

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
