Babbit is coming off the books and I suspect Smith will tomorrow as well. The free agent class isn't very good next summer but there are interesting players that could be Olshey'd into pairing with LaMarcus for a run next year. Josh Smith is one, Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap..guys that will be available but let's stretch the imagination a bit and see who may want to sign here if we show promise. Lot of people say Iggy. I hate to throw out this name because of the wrath Portland has for him but Kobe might not be a Laker next year. Chauncey Billups. Paul Pierce. Ray Allen will be up for grabs. Problem is many of these guys are old except for Jefferson and Millsap. Who matches up with our core and moves the needle. Someone mentioned Tony Allen. Ginobli is on the block but I see him signing for less with the Spurs. Who are the great players on bad teams that want a change?
I am a fan of A team that plays like Tower of Power on a big stage on a good night

Simpson where is this source because I am pretty sure no one on this planet would have Batum 3rd on a SF list let alone a SG/SF list.

He is clearly behind Lebron, Durant and Melo at SF and that is not debatable at all.<...

You do not need to be a great rebounding team, if your team is efficient (Miami near 50% shooting), gets to the foul line a lot (Miami), does not allow many offensive rebounds, forces turnovers (Miami), and does not give up a lot of easy points (M...

Or maybe just maybe half the people know on this site that Portland will end up signing some scrub like Samuel Dalembert and maybe a couple mediocre bench players and Portland improved enough to sneak into the playoffs. Then once you get beaten in...

First need is a centre. And no one will take ten and 13 for 4th or 5th. After like the 10th pick the talent off is huge.
