Sometimes players who excell in the gym, around their buddies and at practice just can't translate that talent during showtime with 20.000 screaming fans around them. We hear alot about how well they shoot at practice or their work ethic off the court. Fact is in many fields, sports, music, theater, education..there are brilliant players, teachers, performers who just can't perform in public. I think the Blazers are suffering from this and I know that coaches see talent and hardwork but sometimes wonder if they are aware of the confidence factor or stage fright element. This is where summer league or preseason separates the show time players from the gun shy players. I'm like most fans, passionate about the team and quick to judge performance or question decisions..sometimes with I could erase a comment that I've sent but ultimately I have confidence in the staff and front office. Maybe we should have an assistant coach that worked on skills not related to basketball? Just sayin....
I am a fan of A team that plays like Tower of Power on a big stage on a good night

Great point and in huge agreement about some of our guys. It's amazing how much some psychology can help out guys who need confidence... I just don't know if it would be something the team should put assets towards helping with, or if certain players should try and take it on themselves to pursue assistance.
I am a fan of BLAZER BASKETBALL. Not drafts, not business, not trades, not David Stern. Just BLAZER BASKETBALL.

Bosh is a horrible defender, Lamarcus is one of the better defenders in the league.

Nice Idea but I think the TWolves trade is very lobsided in our favor

Derrick Williams and Budinger are proven players in the league. Claver and Freeland are not

Hawes was playing nice this season and would be a good pick up imo ...

I love the Grit and Grind, and I love the Spurs timeless play. I think if the Spurs get to the finals, they will beat the heat, but they won''t beat the Grizzlies easily, and the Grizz can''t beat the Heat. I know it''s weird.
