I have no clue if anyone in the Blazers organization will actually read this, but from what I have read all over the internet, Phil Jackson wants to be a part of the organization. I think that they should let him in, Larry Bird turned around the pacers, why cant Phil do the same for Portland? We are in a transition year and bringing in some quality experience would do wonders for the young team. I have read numerous times that he does not want to be coach, let him be president and assistant coach. That way, he can still mentor the team and also be behind the scenes and not have to be in the media. It's a win for Portland in two ways, a big name to bring in tickets and a big name that will make players want to play here.
So the question is, why not?

Ditto. However, its just a matter of whether these prima donnas can get along. If its truly about a team concept, than there shouldnt be a problem. I think PJ would be better suited as an Assistant to Brian Shaw though.

Unless we get another solid bench player out of the deal, no way. Matthews is our best defender, our team leader, and our best three point shooter and clutch shooter. We don''t want to trade that away.

People always forget, why would these guys leave playoff teams to come to PDX? Tony Allen will resign with his western conference semi finalists, Parsons is on of the youngest teams that can actually become a powerhouse, and Belinelli is with the ...

To go another season with so many rookies is not a good idea. We need a couple of vets and atleast one young bench scorer. If we want a Center, go after Hawes from Philly and Dorrell wright can be signed as a free agent. We can trade our 2nd round...

Thanks Ricky.   I''ll be watching @ 10.   Haven''t seen enough right hand from Shazamm.   Without the ability to take his defender either way off the bounce, let alone finish at the cup with either hand?   Second rounder at best.

That roster looks pretty good, but if we would have enough cash Corey or Ronnie brewer would be nice
