While I absolutely nailed the Damian Lillard workout rumor this one is a little more speculative. Drummond worked out with the Kings today and Portland has another individual work out planned for tomorrow. I believe that the second individual workout tomorrow will be Drummond.

It looks like Portland will be looking at their much rumored #6 pick duo tomorrow.

Are you more excited for Drummond or for Lillard?

Drummond. Lillard is my guy but I know what I'm getting with him. Drumond, on the other hand, could be the best player out of this draft so I'm intrigued to see how he looks.

Unfortunately, unless his agent post a work out video the best we are going to get is some shoot around and post workout interviews.

My fear is that Drummond has an inner DeMarcus Cousins waiting to come out. If he's solid mentally though, he'll be a beast.

    Neither one,
Lillard may well be the best point gaurd in this draft but that isn't saying much. Drummond is a huge risk. Take the best player available that is NBA ready. Portland has many holes to fill. I think that means to either trade up or trade down.

Two of the holes are the pivot and the point. Lillard i believe has a little more vision than hes being given credit for. As he said, on his squad he had to score, but i think he has an equally high ceiling when it comes to assist.

Either pick will be solid. I feel like Lillard is a sure thing and Drummond is... (-) soft touch and (-) 40% free throw shooting away from being our Godzilla in the middle.

Trade up from 11 to 7 and grab them both. That would be a perfect draft night.

Perfect draft night depending on who you trade for that #7 pick...

There was something about the way Drummond interviewed that worried me. He sounded very scripted. Like he was saying exactly what his agent told him to say. When he said that he didn't have a favorite NBA team growing up, I called BS. I also think it's a dumb move for him to only work out with the top 6 teams in the draft. There are easily 5 prospects better than him and arguably 7 or 8 players better than him. The fact that he isn't doing much to prove that he's a hard worker shows me that he probably can't prove it.

It's still tough because he has the chance to be the best center coming out of this draft. When we need a center AND he's projected to be a top 5-6 pick, it's difficult to justify passing him up. We need a PG as well, I like Lillard, I think we should take Lillard, but I also think taking Lillard at 6 is risky because we might be higher on him here than what he is actually worth.

lillard is a much safer bet than drummond at 6 and you know what you're getting. drummond is a huge risk for any lottery team with so many proven players. i agree with rice in his prediction that drummond's stock will plummet. word is he wont work out for any team outside of the top 6, what is up with that?

I think Drummond is a perfect fit for a team that is not expected to be a playoff contender next year.

Though Drummond is a good player and is very athletic. He has a lot of off court issues...Much like cousins. I personally don't like his attitude and PDX hasn't liked that type of attitude since the JailBlazers.

I don't think you worry about risk vs reward with the 6th pick, or any pick for that matter.  To say Lillard is risky at #6 is ludicrous.

The real question is whether or not Lillard is worth a roster spot.  You think anyone's going to remember or care when a guy was taken 5 years from now?

I'll tell you what people care about... how much a guy is paid and how well he earns his paycheck.

The real question here is what combo do you like the most:

    Drummond and Marshall
                 or
Lillard and Meyers (or maybe Henson)?

Because to me it looks like it's really coming down to portland taking a c and pg with their first 2 picks.

I guess Batum would be a good fit since Ilysavoa plays 4 more than the 3, which I didnt know lol

I think this would be a really good deal for Bucks then. They can draft Dieng with the 10 and maybe Franklin with their pick.

You''re right. They should dump Monta though. I was thinking maybe the Rockets could use the number 1 pick to get the lakers to do a sign and trade for D12.
