i love MKG. after watching him in the NCAAs my immediate impulse was we gotta get this guy.  however, is this type of player really our first priority?  basically we would be getting a younger version of Gerald Wallace.  i think what we desperately need is a game closing scoring guard.  we need a beal or a lillard far more than we need an MKG.  i think if we had more pieces then MKG would be the guy. but we don't. we are very very weak offensively.  we have one scoring option on most nights with a 2nd scoring option every 4 or 5 games when batum decides to play aggresively with the ball.  i just think it would be counter productive to trade up for MKG, presumably losing both our picks. MKG is a fierce competitor that plays shut down defense and i'd love to have him, just not for the price we'd have to pay and the situation we are currently in.  if Roy were healthy and still playing i'd probably have a different opinion.

I too like MKG however I would agree that another shooting guard is not our first priority unless we execute a trade for a good pg under FA or another pg under #6.

I would get MKG in a heartbeat. The man is the second coming of scottie pippen. He's the hardest working and most NBA ready player in the draft. If he somehow slips to 6, Blazers brass needs grab him.

MKG is a stud plays hard all time, is an excellent defender and attacks the basket. He is a gamer and I bet he would push Batum to another level.

Nice Idea but I think the TWolves trade is very lobsided in our favor

Derrick Williams and Budinger are proven players in the league. Claver and Freeland are not

Hawes was playing nice this season and would be a good pick up imo ...

Bosh in Toronto was better than Lamarcus

I would take Lamarcus over Bosh right now

I love the Grit and Grind, and I love the Spurs timeless play. I think if the Spurs get to the finals, they will beat the heat, but they won''t beat the Grizzlies easily, and the Grizz can''t beat the Heat. I know it''s weird.
