i'll admit it. i'm a hater when it comes to OKC.  is it just me or does nothing bad ever happen to them? they never have injuries.  they always get the calls (seriously i've never seen a bad call against OKC). that bogus goal tending call versus OKC sent our season in to a tail spin.  they belong in seattle.  they started rebuilding around durant at about the same time we were rebuilding but with much different results.  bottom line, i will root for the heat against OKC. they are just the darlings of the NBA and it makes me sick. enough of the rant.
OKC is going to be a power house for years to come.  we need to put a team together good enough to beat them.  getting a bunch of geezers like Garnett, Kidd, Nash, etc. won't cut it.  i think a start would be to steal Harden from OKC in a year or two (can't remember when his contract is up).  draft lillard to counter westbrook and pray barnes or beal turn in to a superstar. anyway, i am up for a decade long fierce rivalry with this team. any ideas how to get to the level where we can beat this team in the Western Conference Finals?

You got to be willing to start over and you have to nail the draft. Not sure Harden will become available OKC should keep him regardless of price. They can always get rid of Perkins to save money.

Beal and Lillard would be a nice start, but Batum has to become an all-star type player, LA has to stay healthy and become more of a leader. We then need to get lucky I just do not seeing reaching that level with mid to late first round picks.

Beal, Barnes, Marshall/Lillard could probably be the next OKC of the west. I honestly think Beal could be our second chance at a superstar SG. Just check his knees like crazy so we dont have to use the amnesty clause in the next decade. I think Batum will become the next Shane Battier if he doesnt seriously improve. He will be a role player and great defender, but probably not a building block of a franchise like so many people currently believe. I could be wrong, but he's had all the opportunity the past four years and a great player doesnt stand around and let his team loose like Batum did most games this season

Yeah It would be a good deal for them but who Olshey isnt reading this haha. If we can do this trade to start our off season we would be in great shape.

Rip a cap hold is a number given to free agents. Basically the cap hold is added to the teams salaries at the start of free agency. So for example a team has 10 million in cap space but has 15 million in cap holds they are technically over the sal...

You could trade the pick for someone like Sanders or someone young and a little more developed and hope Noel does not surpass them.

Noel was playing at around 220 so I doubt the added weight will slow him down too much the guy just needs to continue his rehab and hit the weight room and he will be fine.

As long as he stops pulling the ball down in the post I will be happy nothing more annoying than watching that happen several times a game

Dont see how we can get a starting defensive center. I will be very impressed if Olshey can find one

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
