    With this new GM in place, we now have to collectively dissolve all our hopes and wishes, and put our fate into the hands of  a new cat who has just come from an organization whereas he  was instrumental in bringing together the likes of, CP#, MO Will, Chauncey, Kenyon, Keeping Blake , and resigning D. Jordan. Going after Bledsoe, and somebody better stop me !!!!! Now, we can possibly entice a coach of caliber who has confidence in this Cats decision making ability. Decision making. Scary terminology around these parts. Somebody get me a landline to Jerry Sloan.

    Considering the NBA's love affair with Griffenstien I will not count the Chris Paul trade anyones doing but Sterns since he should have went to the Lakers who tendered a much better deal all the way around. Stern and the rest of the league nixxed it. With that being said he probably could have offered a stale 7-11 burrito a big gulp and 2 bench players and Stern would have fallen all over himself to do ANYTHING for Griffenstien. A couple of choices here are debatable but they did get to the playoffs when they were nowhere near it the year before.

    Interesting to see who he picks as a coach.

    It sounds like Canales is going to remain as Blazers head coach. Olshey and Canales go back a ways and are pretty tight. I'm not totally against that, in fact in may be the best thing for the team right now.
    I just hope whatever they do comes quick, they need everything in place before the draft and free agency.

    Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
