i just saw in a mock draft, updated today, that we take perry jones III at pick 6 and lillard at pick 11. I wasnt much of a fan due to jones' inconsistency. thoughts?

If we have a chance to get Harrison Barnes at #6 shouldn't we go for it? Jones is a mystery, he could turn out to be a great player, but is he the right pick for us? I don't see him coming in and helping right away, but I might be wrong. Barnes seems to be the better player. If we stand a chance of losing Batum, it would seem smarter to take Barnes. Perhaps Jones would still be there at pick #11.

I would take Barnes at #6 if Beal, MKG, Davis and Robinson are gone. Then I have decided we need to draft Lillard he is too good of scorer and gets to the line often something this team really needs.

With #6, I would take Barnes or Drummond, whichever is available.  If neither are available, I would go with Dion Waiters.   I think Waiters might be the real deal.

With #11, I would go with Lamb or Zeller depending upon what was filled at #6.

I would always try to go with the best player available though, regardless of position.

    What do others think?

I would like to see the Blazers draft a SG and C if the best players available allow for that....and then fill the PG role through free agency.

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

First Game starts tonight. Houston is a tough first round opponent and they play exceptionally well at home. If we can steal a game or two at their place, I feel like we have extremely good chances.

P.S. Would anybody happen to have a...

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
