Kaleb Canales - Coach of the Future?

    After watching this season go down the tubes, the one shining area was the surprising game preparation form Kaleb Canales.  He put the best team on the floor and got the most out of them.  Most of the issues he faced were selfish players who thought they got paid by FGA (Crawford), Stupid Mistakes (Felton), and laziness in the fourth quarter (Batum), and no one who knows how to play in the paint.

    I would like to see him stick around with Bernie as his assistant to mentor him in tough situations.  While we are re-building and re-tooling as a team, I say we do that with a young coach as well.  He has earned that opportunity.

    It looks like you hate Batum. he's not lazy in the fourth quarter. he's just not given the chance. who helps on the defensive end if it's not Batum, Aldridge and Matthews?

    I do not hate Batum, but I do expect players to play the entire game, just not the first three quarters.  He has been given plenty of chances so I am finding it hard to understand what your saying.  But when it comes to the forth quarter on offense he disappears.  He will not go to the paint except when it is a clear path.

    Whereas Aldridge and Matthews not only play defense, they hit the paing and are not afriad to get mugged if they need to.

    i think if we stay young he is the right choice, if we get vets then we get a vet coach- and dude get off ur dad's d***-  batum is a lot of things and u can pull him apart- he is not lazy, he guards the best player on the other team  and is not even in the game till the last 5 mins of the 4th just so he can be rested to defend their best player

    You''re right. They should dump Monta though. I was thinking maybe the Rockets could use the number 1 pick to get the lakers to do a sign and trade for D12.
