i feel like i'm constantly getting the short end of the stick on being a season ticket holder.  we give the blazers our money in advance to enable us a slightly discounted price for all the games throughout the season.  one problem is that for games against crappy teams the box office price is actually less than my season ticket rate.  thats annoying.  this season the blazers also offered a "pick and flex" package that offered similar seats as mine that were exactly the same price as my season ticket holder rate.  and lastly, for renewing my season tickets early i got a bobblehead.  if i were to become a new season ticket holder i would get two 100 level seats to one game.  starting to rethink this whole season ticket holder thing.  and i haven't even touched the basketball part of this franchise.

any other season ticket holders have any thoughts on this?

Can you let me know who your season ticket holder rep is so I can forward this along to them?
    Thanks!

This year was a horrible season for trying to pawn off any games you didn't want to go to.  With the Blazers giving games an A, B, C... value it basically undervalues the crappy games so a $100 a game seat only gets like 30 bucks if it is against a team like Cleveland.  It values your Miami game as an A, or like $200 a ticket.  This is how they come up with the $100 per game price from the average.  It is total bs.

This year also sucked because you could probably take up the offer on Steals of the Game, and land better seats at a helluva price than paying a full season ticket price in the 200 level.  I think tonight you could have got 2 tickets, and a Matthews jersey in the 300 level for $39.  It would be worth the price of the tickets just to get a $70 value jersey.

I imagine unless some miracles happen this summer they will be giving away tickets next year.  I have given up on season tickets because I went to every game because I felt like I paid for them, but in reality there are just some games I would rather unload than go to.  I think picking single games from the Steal of the Games is the best choice along with picking some of the bigger games to go to.

This year sadly I saw many 100 courtside tickets for $35 on stubhub, but that could have been due to the condensed season.  No one wants to go to 3-4 games in one week.  It gets a bit costly for parking, and $10 beers.

DHawes22, i already talked to my season ticket rep about the pick and flex or whatever package it was.  theirs not really much she can do, its the upper management that sets up these ticket promos.  seriously the promo was like pick atleast 10 games, which i did, the games i selected were all A, B, or C type games.  so with that promo i could have gotten all good games at the same price as a season ticket holder and none of the charlotte, new orleans, sacramento, or golden state crap games.

Barton has some potential he is too thin at the moment. He is also a little out of control at times, which he improved a lot as the season we on. His shooting though was just dreadful at times which is why I pushed for him to go to the d league so...

You know why ripcity cause he fing earned those extra calls the same way MJ did and the same way Lebron has. I mean just watch Lebron play he commits around 5 or more offensive fouls per game just lowering his head running over defenders but never...

joint option for year three at like 8 million. Then if he works out you got him for a bargain for 2-3 years and if not it costs only 1.2 million for next year.

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
