    April 23rd Games of Note:
    Detroit Pistons @ Indiana Pacers

The Pistons now are two games behind the Nets, so as long as the Nets lose one more or the Pistons win one more, Detroit can not catch the New Jersey for 6th in the Lottery standings.
New Jersey Nets vs. Philadelphia 76ers
The Nets are tied for 6th right now with Toronto (who they face on the last day of the season in Toronto). And they are just a half game behind Cleveland and one game behind the Kings. As long as the Nets lose out, they could end up in a three-way tie for 4th. This game isn't a lock for New Jersey to lose as they just beat the 76ers in Philly a little over a week ago.
    Toronto Raptors @ Milwaukee Bucks
A Raptors win would be the best possible outcome. A Raps win and Nets lose would mean the worst possible position New Jersey could finish would be  tied for 6th.
    Cleveland Cavaliers @ Memphis Grizzlies
With the Grizzlies fighting for home-court advantage, I doubt the Cavs have a shot tonight. A win by Cleveland and a New Jersey loss would push the Nets into 5th.

    April 24th, Games of Note:
Sacramento Kings @ Oklahoma City Thunder-

We need one win over the next two games out of the Kings along with a Nets loss to the Raptors and Sacramento and New Jersey would finish tied, possibly for the 4th spot. At first I thought this game would be a run away for OKC but then I remembered, the Spurs clinched HCA last night and OKC has nothing to play for. If they rest anyone or take this game lightly, the Kings could walk away victorious.
New Orleans Hornets @ Golden State Warriors-
This, my friends, is a win-win game. If the Warriors win, they can not tie the Nets for 7th. If the Hornets win their last two games and the Nets lose to the Raptors, then the Nets would be tied for the Hornets for potentially 3rd.

As mentioned, one game in the loss column separates draft lottery positions 3-7. Here are the teams in the mix and who they have left to play.

    #3 - Kings (21-44): April 26th vs. Lakers
L.A. has the 3 seed sewn up and will be without Ron Artest, so they could be resting a lot of players. And you know the Kings, like us, dislike the Lakers with a passion and would love nothing more then to close out the season, at home, with a win over the Lakers.

    #4 - Hornets (21-44): April 26th @ Houston
Although the Hornets have been playing well of late, this one could prove to be a tall task. On the other hand, Houston could be moping that they lost out on the playoffs and the Hornets, playing hungry under Coach Williams, could grind out a W.

    #5 - Cavaliers (21-43): April 25th vs Washington | April 26th @ Chicago
Preferably the Cavs would win both, but they just need to win one. I think their best chance is to do so tongiht against the Wiz at home, but the Wizards have won four straight. Chicago has the #1 seed in the East wrapped up but is still fighting for the #1 overall seed and they always play hard.

    #6 - Nets (22-43): April 26th @ Toronto
For any of the above games to matter, the Nets must lose. Bottom line. If the Nets win, the best possible position they could have heading into the lottery would be 7th.

Cavs did us NO favors by losing at home to the Wizards last night. Now we need to be rooting first and foremost for the Raptors to win. If that domino falls then we need the Kings to beat LA, Cavs to stun the Bulls, and the Hornets to knock off Houston.  My guess? I'd say the best chance is the Nets will end up tied for 5th with the Kings. If the Nets do win, root hard for the Warriors to beat the Spurs tonight. If the W's lose and Nets win, those two teams will be tied for 7th heading into the lottery, easily the worst case scenario.

So now that the Raptors beat the Nets and the Cavs and Houston (unfortunately for us) both lost, Nets and Kings are tied record-wise for 5th lowest. But since the Nets beat the Kings in the one match-up they had this season, I suppose Nets will be landing at 6th?

I think the Trailblazers will be drafting 7 and 11 and the top seven to be drafted are Anthony Davis, MKG, .Drummond, Beal, Barnes, Robinson, and Sullinger.  The next five would be Marshall, the other point guard, Tyler, Henson, and jones.  I think we should keep JJ and Aldridge. and trade Batum to Boston for Rondo and then draft the best center and sf or sg.  Our starting unit might be :

pg Rondo, sf jj Hixon, c Sullinger, pf Aldridge, sg Mathews or Williams or Rivers.  But as always things will change before this takes place.

Not DPOY. All American. Player of the year in his conference twice. Past four years, McCollum, Muscala, McCollum, Muscala.

sign Iggy for 8-9M, Batum at the two, and Wesley off the bench! Draft Steven Adams (who loves contact, grew up playing rug-bee). Sounds NICE!

Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
