Did DIME get his ranking right?
Yes - He's not the best of the best, but still Top 10 (1)

    No - He's not a Top 10 Sixth Man (0)

No- He's easily in the Top 5, he just won the award two seasons ago (2)

Andrew Greif from DIME Magazine recently put together a list of their Top 10 Sixth Men in the NBA. Even though his shooting has been rocky to start off the season, it's still no surprise that our very own Jamal Crawford cracked the list at No. 7.

Here's what they had to say:
Nate McMillan promised a team that would run more this season, and Crawford is the gunner the Trail Blazers needed to carry that goal. Good friend Brandon Roy’s retirement created a hole in the team’s scoring from the two-guard spot. The Michigan man has fixed it. It hasn’t been a seamless transition. His shooting percentage is down from 42 to 35 percent over last year and scoring down a point to 13.2 per game. He’s been more inconsistent than McMillan would prefer: Only four times has he had consecutive games in double-digit scoring. Still, Portland’s second unit isn’t known for being selfish enough with capable players (Nicolas Batum) not necessarily the same ones to create their own shot. Crawford makes defenses gameplan for him coming off the bench and is unpredictable as a freelancer in McMillan’s offense.

Even though he's shooting career lows from the field and three-point land, Jamal can still fill it up on a nightly basis, which he has shown these past few games. DIME has Thad Young, Ian Mahimi, Mo Williams, Al Harrington, Lou Williams, and James Harden ranked above JCrossover. While Carl Landry, Nate Robinson, and J.J. Redick fall behind Jamal in their Top 10 list. I would somehow find a way to get Jamal into the Top 5. Not many of those guys can create their own shot or have done in the clutch as he has before. I'd definitely put Mahimi down a notch, Mo Williams probably too. What do you guys think? Did DIME get it right?

I've been saying this for a while now, but we won't get to see the real Jamal Crawford until Nate plays him at the two guard, exclusively. And when all he has to worry about is scoring, he's one of the best. Now he's no James Harden, but if he were just playing the two, he'd be the second best 6th man in the NBA to me.

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

First Game starts tonight. Houston is a tough first round opponent and they play exceptionally well at home. If we can steal a game or two at their place, I feel like we have extremely good chances.

P.S. Would anybody happen to have a...

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
