Is it possible to attempt a meniscus transplant for Roy to have some semblance of a extended career.  Just dreaming and wishing can't blame a guy for that..... I know if I could I would give up some of my meniscus in a heartbeat to help the guy out.

On a happier note, I am happy to finally be back to the forums!  Just got finished with Basic Training in July and AIT in November now I'm stationed in Alaska, where I will attempt to listen to every game online.  I know we will continue to impress those that don't keep tabs on our organization!

    First of all, welcome back.

I had the same thought, but I'm guessing that option was already explored with Brandon's doctor. I'm guessing a meniscus transplant provides some longevity to an everyday person's knees, but probably doesn't allow them to compete at the NBA level. If you think of it like a liver transplant; once you have one, you can't go out drinking anymore. Probably a similar rule applies here.

Yeah I figure as much, hence the reason I titled the post "Pipe Dreams" but as long as the organization did what they could, I will continue to support our franchise.

you know, it's would be a natural thing for those in alaska to be blazers fans since it's the closest team to them!

dare we dream that, but it's a great dream!

Most people that live up here actually don't give a lick about basketball at all.  It's nicer than having Laker fans everywhere but other than the guys in my unit, I have nobody to talk NBA with...

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

First Game starts tonight. Houston is a tough first round opponent and they play exceptionally well at home. If we can steal a game or two at their place, I feel like we have extremely good chances.

P.S. Would anybody happen to have a...

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
