“Next summer we’ll take a really hard look at bringing him [Freeland] over,” Buchanan said. “He’ll be 25 and starting to enter the prime of career and will have another high-level European season under his belt. Next summer, we’ll have serious discussions about it.”
“He would love to come over and play in the NBA,” Buchanan said. “We want to make sure if and when we bring him over, he’s ready to contribute. I would say of our three guys — Victor, Joel and him [Koponen] — he’s probably the furthest away from being able to help our team.”
“I think Victor is an NBA player right now. But he wants to stay over for another year and play with Valencia. His team was in the EuroLeague this year, it was a good season for him and he wanted to stick around for one year. But Victor is ready to come over and play in our league right now.”

Doesn't look like we'll see any of these guys on the hardwood next season. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Viktor or Joel in the Fall of 2012 according to that recap as both seem to want to play a bit longer overseas.

Why is there no dialogue about getting broadcasts (even if they are delayed by days or weeks) of these three on their teams that they will be playing on this year. I would love to see these guys play while our own lockout goes on. Between Comcast (sports net) or Paul Allen, someone should have the pockets or strings to pull to make this feasible right?

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...

Yeah and now Blazers have zero interest in Bynum. I really thought he was worth the small risk. If anything he would be at the end of our bench and we use him as a sub. Hopefully we do make some type of trade for a quality back up center. Right no...
