I really want to play Dallas in the play-offs because we match up well against them. Their star player, Dirk Nowitzki would not play well against Aldridge because Dirk tends to get most of his points when he faces up, and either drives around you or shoots the open jumper. Aldridge is a very light-footed defender and his long arms will make Dirk take tough shots.

Dirk takes most of his shots with a fade away finish, the arms of aldridge do not provide a huge saftey net for as to why dallas is the easier team.

why i wouldnt want the blazers to play dallas, is because the mavs are really workin out Tyson Chandler, he is progressively  making his way into that offense.

Who is finna gaurd him? Camby? Isnt he broken? I mean even if he's not i would stil give Chandler the +1 any day on camby for his youth.

Dallas however is notorious for playoff trouble, they always mess up somewhere in their journey, so its not a 50-50% chance of winning, but idk....honestly i think this teams best bet to advance in the playoffs is if they  play NO or Memphis and there is just no way they can matchup with one of them....or so i think

I just dont think this team is strong/deep enough to take on SA DAL or LA in a series./

Those are just about the only likely possibilities.(I don't think we can overtake Denver for the 5th seed) If I had to choose from the above three you just mentioned(San Antonio,Dallas,Los Angeles) I'd go with Dallas.

I'd normally say I'd be fine with SAS, but tonight they showed why they are for real.  We escaped with a win in that one.  Much like the Denver game.  But, I would like Dallas.  I think we could make a great series against them

I agree, i want dallas too. besides the fact that they always find a way to blow it in the playoffs - we do match up well. all of our games have been close and could go either way. i dont really feel that way about S.A. or the Lakers. Both of those teams turn it up in the playoffs. I would vote for LA as the most entertaining matchup. It wouldn't surprise me if they went to 7 games. Pretty tall order to win game 7 in LA to advance though.

we definately want dallas.  Of the 4 teams we could possibly play dallas is easily playing the worst basketball right now.  Also like a few people already said they choke in the playoffs a lot, they have lost 3 of their last 4 playoff series.
I am a fan of the Blazers draft selections. Feels good to finally be able to say that

I think one of the problems in getting Asik is LA has the ability to offer him more money than any other team.  Since Howard seems to go where the money is he might not be going anywhere except LA.  If Howard does not move to Houston or Dal...

Add those together and you get 34.6% which is why he was 85th out of 93.

Sug I would start with him outscoring Wesley Matthews. He also needs to get his FTA up and his FG% up and cut down the turnovers.

why is everyone high on Shabazz.  He can''t shoot and he thinks he''s the next best thing to Lebron.  His attitude is not positive.

Cmeese, you want to trade Aldridge too? Seems like you only care that the championships are under the Blazer name, and you''re willing to throw anyone under the bus to get it.

I love the Grit and Grind, and I love the Spurs timeless play. I think if the Spurs get to the finals, they will beat the heat, but they won''t beat the Grizzlies easily, and the Grizz can''t beat the Heat. I know it''s weird.
