I was just having this crazy idea again of playing with the Trade Machine. Any thoughts on this?

memphis is trying to catch us for the last spot in the playoffs. Don't think they'd give up on Gasol quite yet. Spurs are playing better then anyone, Parker's focus and energy is a big reason why. Tony's gonna be a Spur for awhile I believe.

that would no boubt be a good trade but if the Grizzlies did trade Gasol, which isnt likely, there is absolutely no way they would trade him for dante cunningham and elliot williams.  Also the Spurs have had enough success this year because of Parker and Ginobli that there is no way they will trade either of them unless the get offered kobe or something.
I am a fan of the Blazers draft selections. Feels good to finally be able to say that

The Grizz are not about to give up on another Gasol. The Spurs would need a little more than convincing to trade Tony Parker. Plus, as a Blazer, do you wanna switch a veteran guard with a veteran guard?

Umm, no.  We do not want Steve Nash and are not ready to let Greg Oden go.

The chances of the original trade happening are very very very slim.  I'd take it if I was Portland, but not if I was SAS or MEM.

Also,  keep in mind the "Trade Machine" only works with cap space.  If Kobe and Sam Bowie had the same contract, it would say the trade would be a success.

Well, these are just ideas. So even if the "'Trade Machine' only works with cap space," it's just a game. Who knows, trades might happen.

As of your second point, taken. The chances of my suggestion were really slim. We could have traded for them during the offseason, when both players were still on the block.

As for your first point, who doesn't want a Steve Nash? He has a high entertainment value, he is a high-octane player, and keeps the team in high spirits. As for Greg Oden, ditto...

Yeah, because the Grizz are stacked on bigs, and Thabeet has the most potential (and the one who can be easily snagged) among them.

I am ready for oden to leave, yes you can yell at me and say I'm not a true fan for saying this, but its time for him to go. I've felt that we've been patient enough with him, and the past two and half years I've wished he would turn out like amare and be good as new with a good break on the knees or whatever else, but it looks very grim in my opinion and injuries seem to keep on popping up. Its time to look for another strong center else where. But Thabeet, is not our guy. My dream would be to snag Griffin, because the clips have a history of giving their franchise player away, but realistically someone like David Lee, Kevin Love, or Brendan Haywood could help.

I do want to put my two cents about Steve Nash. He would be one of the best options for this franchise. He is an up tempo offensive player, which is what our young team likes to run, and he's a general on the floor. His motives are to make guys look good, that is rarely seen in the NBA, and that is the type of point guard we need for our young team. I couldn't even begin to imagine the kind of player he would make Lamarcus Aldridge, getting him the cut open lane for dunks, much like Amare Stoudamire. He would get Batum and Mathews open three's. And make Fernandez much more of a threat. The only down side I see, is he doesn't have many more years in the NBA, and his defense is a liability. But the things he could do to make our young team flourish would be amazing to watch, even if it were for two to three years.

also, giving up two spots on our roster by dealing 4 for 2 isn't something we really need due to injuries.
