The one constant in all three games has been Brooks penetrating on our less athletic point guards. Nate needs to fix this, the way he does it is stick Bayless in the game to stop his penetration. Another thought is that if we want to be more efficient on offense the Blazers can go with LA at the 5 to spread the court and take Yao out of the middle. That way they can spread the floor for Roy to create.

Bayless isnt ready to be the pg of this team in the playoffs. You cant expect him to come in and be the savior after being given nothing but garbage time when Blake came back. Maybe if he had been given a shot, and some of Chachos playing time in the regular season, it would be different. We will never know how good Bayless could be as the back up pg by now.
Remember, (sarcasim) assists are the only stat that matter for a pg :)

Blake and Roy did a better job on Brooks in game 3. The entire team needs to play all 48 minutes to win.

    Lets Go Blazers !!!!

Yeah, I don't know. I can't see that it would hurt at this point. If you don't play him and we lose everyone says "fire Nate" again because they think they are experts. If you do play him and we lose, then there is always game 5 and atleast we know. The key is to do it now while there is still a chance to bounce back. With that said, I don't believe Bayless is the answer, but it is better to play him now and lose with Game 5 coming up than to not play him, lose, and not know going into game 5. Obviously a win is what we want, but maybe a lineup with Bayless, Roy, Rudy, Ourtlaw/Aldridge and Oden might be a strong, fast line up that spreads the floor enough to make the matchups work in Portland's favor. Like I said, until the message board coaches are proven wrong, they are just going to continue posting those stupid "fire Nate" posts.

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
