What are you predictions for this game? I'm not sure if its gonna be an easy game us. Usually its not when we play against Denver team but I think it should be a fun game to watch. I believe that blazers can pull up a win out of this one. Maine scorer A. Miller followed by LA, Matthews and Batum.. 98-91 we win

Well the team did pull it off.
Most impressive moment, when the team ran HOT in the 3rd for a bit, i think they held denver to not having a shot over a time period of 5 mins.

Anthony fouled out, which almost sealed the deal right there.

But what i was extremley surprised to see, was the lack of calls made against Portland.
Portland got away with some HUGE fouls, including the Matthews foul on Afflalo on the last shot, should of been 3 ft's.
I dont think anyone has the right to complain about calls not going in Portlands favor anymore, i mean Anthony did foul out.  And the fouls that were called on the blazers were totally legit, in 2nd half, Wesley breaking Melo's arm, Rudy making horrible slap fouls.
But it wasnt too one sided.

Oh and the comentators were doing nothing but praising portland, liked that, they were talking about all kinds of things, how they play, their mission, the team.
    Not forgotten

Good game, good fight for POR, glad they one.

TayC, are you a Portland hater?  I honestly never see you make a comment that is actually good about the Blazers.  The game was played Physical, the game was called very fair.  We may have gotten away with fouls but so were the Nuggets.  It was played in their favor, and Portland overcame it.  Also, Afflalo was on the line.  Should have been 2 Fts.

Get over it and enjoy the win.  Stop being so quick to criticize the team.

Great win tonight.  Team D was stifling in that critical 4th quarter.  I love the way the Blazers got after it tonight, COLLECTIVELY, and as a team.  Nic earned a Grammy on Anthony's disqualifying foul!  ;)

He's just being realistic. We may not like his posts but he's right. The game was physical, but the officiating was good, and was NOT in favor of them. And no, Afflalo was clearly behind the line. Would have been 3, but a good no call

    Great win and Go Blazers

TayC...you need to learn the game of Basketball before you make bad statements about the fouls.  they never call fouls on the last shot of the game with the opportunity to win or tie the game.  Look back in history and tell me hoe many times they have made  a call on the last shot.  Complaining will not get you a win...we just out played the Nuggets.  We should have won by 20 points.
    Nice win for the Blazers.

It was the most exciting win of the season despite all the injuries and the news of Oden, way to go Blazers!! Watched this game on TNT and they played excellent, I love Matthews, he knocked down three 3's in a row in the first half. Impressive :)

Definitely a win that was needed considering what we've been going through the last week or so. I didn't see Portland getting the benefit of the calls, though. You don't call fouls in the final seconds of a game unless it's blatantly obvious.

It was a good physical grind-it-out NBA basketball game, and none of the sissy stuff that goes on a lot of the time.

Great win, although we could use a scoring boost off the bench from someone. We can't have 0 points from the bench through three quarters if we're going to win ballgames without Roy.

And without Oden, Pryzbilla, and Roy. They can still beat good teams, they have talent, imagine when Pryzbilla comes back at Novembers end, and Roy may not be at full health but he may surprise us with his performance in the long run. Blazers will be a playoff contender in my opinion.

Man, I'm excited about this team and the energy they played with. I'm really liking A. Millers post game, W.M. Is exciting to see fight for everything, from scoring to rebounds to defense. A Couple months of steady play from this cast and we will be sitting in a nice spot in the west. I believe in this team and Nate to overcome the bullcrap that has plagued them in the last two yrs. L.A. had 24 and if W.M. can rub off on him a bit he might become more aggressive in the Post, Camby had 14 rebounds and batum with key plays - nice all around team effort. Weaknesses, Rudy isn't looking so good the last couple of games, he did hit 2/6 three pointers, but he looks a little lost on this team. We need a person to come off the bench and give us some pop.
I can't wait to get some revenge on Utah this Sat. If we can take it to Utah, like we took it to Denver, and scratch out a win, it will do great things for this teams emotional state in those five days off. Two short handed wins against two top teams and 5 days to rest and practice will be awesome for us. Lets do this B.

Yeah. I was very impressed with the Blazer team that played last night. Great win, gentlemen! And the fact that Carmello Anthony fouled out; beautiful. Loved the look of disbelief on that [ahem] guy's face as he walked to the bench.

Also, loved the complaining from the TNT commentators about their tight seating at the broadcasting table. Newsflash: continue to show us some respect, and we'll think about giving you a third chair, bitches.

Utah will be a challenge, but we show a lot of promise, and the more comfortable our role players get with each other, the better this team is going to get.

TayC, are you a Portland hater?
No, but my head isnt so far up my "blazer butt" that deny what actually happens. I guess i have the balls to admit when this team gets lucky, even if you cant.

    Nice win for the Blazers.

I really dont know where to start with you. Because they dont make those calls, i somehow know nothing of basketball. If they would play by the "RULES OF BASKETBALL" then there would of been a call. And if you think this team Outplayed Denver last night, then you are gravley mistaken, they were lucky, Anthony Fouled out,is that considered outplaying. Those were some of the worst last seconds of basketball that this team has ever played. Denver should of won by 20 points.
So please elaborate on your illogical post?

Doesn't matter anyway, there was one giant thing that went overlooked on the Nuggets, when Melo got his fifth foul he raised his arms up to question it and it wasn't called. I'm pretty sure if it was anyone else they would have called that. I for one don't think that they should call those when they are that mild, but they have called it on us.

The rest of the game seemed pretty fair to me though. Lamarcus and Dre were fouled a couple times without a call, as well as a couple of Nuggets. Nic seemed to really be getting respect from the refs in the game. I am still surprised they called that 6th foul on Melo. Definitely an obvious foul, but Durant never got called for that once when we played him. But that was a great play and that was a great job all game defensively by Batum to get Melo to foul out. Maybe it's because Durant gave Nic the nod for being recognized as a feared defender in the league now, but whatever it is I'm liking the respect from the officials.

Oh wow, another perfect example of your lack of reading comprehension.

1: I was talking about them calling a tech on Melo for waving his arms up in the air for the disrespecting the game techs they are emphasizing this year.

2: I was talking about an actual foul call.

Why is this so hard for you to understand? BUT WILL YOU ADMIT YOU WERE WRONG?!?!?!?!?! The saga continues.
