SERIOUSLY, VAN GUDY AND JACKSON ARE THE WORST BASKETBALL ANNOUNCERS!!!!!

I have a hard time listening to these people call a game when the blazers are playing. Thunders this thunder that thunder are awesome blah blah blah - Is the media bias this blatant?

Everybody is on their knees for the Thunder because they took the defending champs to a game 7....

Thunder are just decent.. And with Durant injured, they're trash.

It's what ESPN has them talking about. It's not just them. Come on they showed a clip of a Nate interview to tell them what they thought of Kevin Durant. I like listening to Mark Jackson talk basketball, he gave love to us and also kept it real too. It's also nice to hear "Brandon Roy walks you down raises up and knocks down the BIG deuce. Momma! There go that man."

I feel that whatever the media hypes will be the down fall of Portland. We got some bad calls example Miller getting pushed out of bounce.

I watched the kgw broadcast not espn and I'm not surprised that Mark was the only one that gave us love tonight. Everytime the Blazers play on tnt, i would refuse to watch the halftime show because Charles Barkley never has anything good to say about our team. I'm almost convinced that our team never gets respect from the national spotlight because the NBA thinks that a winning team in the northwest is detrimental to the leagues market value. Child please...

    GO BLAZERS!
I am a fan of sticking with my team through thick and thin. PTB FOR LIFE!

Of course the media is biased.  Just like the refs.  Notice how everytime, late in the game, Westbrooke or Durant drove, a foul was called, yet when we attacked, there was no foul?  Blazers played a great close game the entire game, but with late mishaps by the refs, they fell short.  This was a great close game, but the popularity won the game for the Thunder.

In Durant's 8-0 run, he pushed off Batum TWICE to create space.  That is an offensive foul, but we all know Durant would never be called for that.  Batum didn't even flop, there was enough contact and force there to move Batum back to create the shot.  Take 4 points away from the Thunder, and 2 possessions, Blazers win.

Now let's go to the Camby vs Kristic jump ball.  That was a Blazer possession.  Camby would have EASILY won that tip, but the ball was tossed up very bad.  So bad, not even Kristic could get it, but it luckily bounced off him to Westbrooke.

Even after Rudy's 3 point attempt to win the game,  Batum's jersey was being held preventing a tip in to tie it and send it to overtime.

I don't blame the Blazers, nor really the refs for this game.  It was well played, and overall officiated above average, compared to how different the market sizes are (Durant is a huge market, notice all the attention he gets).  So it's hard for me to say this, but it is true, but lack of calls on the Blazers end compared to the Thunder in the late game scenario lost them this game.  It could go either way, but the Blazers would have won had the things I mentioned been called correctly or been called.

I heard various times before a commercial break Thunder 56, "VISITORS" 58. Come on!!!!!! We have a name and we were leading the game - What!!!, we can't even get the respect of being called by our team name. I listened to more talk about Boston and Miami coming from the these three talking heads and it just soured the Whole  enjoyable process of watching a Game.
I wanted  us to win that game so bad, so they could have shut that crew up, and then I wouldn't had to listen to the two new poster boys of this Whole corrupt League give their post game interviews. It it is just horrible to be a fan of a team which constantly get's verbally abused and disregarded by men who clearly have agendas and Biases.

Try and keep all things related to a certain game in the game threads next time. But onto the topic at hand, yes they were pretty painful to listen. I esp like Van Gundy changing his mind on a Blazer foul is a 5 second span. Captain Hindsight anyone?

Friends, I'm the last guy that wants to point this out. How many times have we made the playoffs in the last 10 years? How many times have we advanced to the 2nd round? The Blazers have made HUGE strides over the last 10 years, and there is a LOT to love about this team, but the reality is we don't get attention because we haven't gone the distance in the win column. We will get there.

In Durant's 8-0 run, he pushed off Batum TWICE to create space.

Nah the move he did is called a "strong" jab step as long as the arm doesn't come out. Text book move to create a little space. But I do remember the last game we had against OKC Durant CLEARLY pushed Batum with his arms off the ball, right in front of sideline ref and it wasn't called. Nate was livid.

Speaking of bad fouls, anybody remember when Rudy was boxing the big man our and he jumped over Rudy's back? No loose ball call... Sad part is, we still got the rebound, lol.

Actually Herr he did it more than that. But he was not called once for it. He would always do it right before the ball was passed to him so he could get the ball. It is absolutely ridiculous that that wasn't called at least once!!! That means they either ignored it on purpose or they are extremely incompetent.

Oh and Van Gundy is terrible. All I've ever heard him say anything good about the Blazers was about Camby who he coached. Mark Jackson is usually ok about that stuff but he is so plain and boring to listen to, especially since he has a very limited box of sayings! ie "Momma there goes that man" over and over and over.

the thunder are hot, theyre something new, people always like new things at first, but the thunder keep producing so there continues to be talk.
its not complicated to figure out, just as soon as you stop creating excuses for the players of this team, it will make sense.
really why cant anyone get off the topic of "Everyone is out to get the blazers"?
