This reminds me of G.I. Jane. The qualified woman who tried out for the S.E.A.L. Team and made it, in the face of adversity. Handle your business K.. Solid opinions. Remember this though, if it is exposed that your buttons are easily pushed, than they will be. Just food for thought.

Oh I wasn't attacking you, after all I'm sure you are not the first and only one to say such things to her. If I were to attack you I would have brought up your rather tiny checklist with poor criteria when looking for a mate! ha ha But seriously, if Kassandra would have answered "Yes" to marrying you, you would have turned her down?!?! What a tease!

BTW I do know plenty of females who have an immense knowledge of sports, especially basketball! Of course many of them were thanks to Rudy being their main interest! But then they are hooked. That's why I want Rudy too stay!!! ha ha

LAS11291 I openly admit I am not the most eloquent with my words, and people take me the wrong way all the time. I'm sure you've seen a few unhappy people with me, and my humor is really dry so maybe I should start telling people when I'm joking! And women who get into the games like that are dangerous! I'd want to stay on her good side!

Kassandra I was joking when I said what if you said yes to marriage! Oh and believe me I've learned my lesson the hard way with 18 year olds! And 19-26 year olds!!! Basically I haven't actually found an age yet when women know what they want, except they all think they can land the richest most powerful and handsome man in the universe someday, and until someone comes along that is further up that chain than me, they'll settle for me! Or they think they will be famous someday or change the world by running around airports in their underwear or something. I'm done with that thank you. You may think I am jaded... you would be correct! But I guess it's fun while it lasts.

what, there is no age, women cant keep emotions out of anything, im not a sexist for saying this, so please dont play that card again. Scientific studies have been proven as well, women are emotional, thats how they think, men are logical, thats how we think, its the truth.
When you have the slightest emotional conflict in your head, it will, in some form come out, next time you, do the dishes, talk to someone, hurt yourself, that little piece of conflict will sure enough come out.

like your my perfect example, like you had to quote my post, and act all mean again. ha ha.

TayC I thought you said I was the internet know it all?! I guess you are the internet psychologist.
But first you say there is no age for women knowing what they want, then you say there is no age for women to keep their emotions out of anything. You don't even know how to logically argue your own point or stay on track.
Now you can deny not being sexist all you want, but the fact that you keep singling out everything about Kassandra being a female in all your posts in a negative way, and then the way you are calling her sweet heart, lady and girl seems like you are treating her as an inferior because she is a female. That is sexism.

@Tom: so we know that he doesn't only know very little about basketball; he knows absolutely nothing about women. did you get a load of all that emotion rhetoric? he obviously doesn't understand the facts i reference have absolutely nothing to do with emotion whatsoever. of course, he's still at that little high school age where he thinks he knows everything and everything he says is correct -- just because he says it. the ironic thing is that if he actually knew anything about women, he might be out on a date on a saturday night rather than trolling message boards! perhaps his complete lack of knowledge of women is wheat leads to the sexism and his insatiable need to attack them online, and perhaps, in person. perhaps he wasn't hugged enough as a child (or maybe he was hugged too much). it's hilarious to me that he keeps singling me out. given his attacks on me, it's like he's infatuated with me or something. it's like the mentality of a grade school boy who pulls the pigtails of a girl he likes. just a sad life there.

you and some of the other posters were talking earlier about Bayless being left out of the conversation. that's a good point since, for the most part, we've focused on Nicolas. i like Jerryd and eventually feel he'll be traded, but i'd not like to see that happen this season. he provides depth and i think he'll compliment Wesley when the second unit takes the floor. behind Jerryd at pg is Armon. while Armon is impressing fans (and probably Nate), i think he's going to need a year before we can rely on him to be the primary backup at pg (or even as the future starter). maybe he could get there as the season progresses, but i don't think he's there yet. so why rush things to that end while we have Jerryd this year to assume that role? anyway, that's my take on it.

Well I think you are right about Jerryd, he is definitely improving, but I think he would really tear it up under a different coach unfortunately. I actually think if Armon is what he seems he could be I'd rather throw him out there sometime this year! We know he will make mistakes but we are not gonna win it all this year anyway most likely. Just like trying to learn a foreign language. If you learn by the books it takes a long time, maybe even years to be fluent, but if you live where the natives speak and are totally submersed in the language and culture, and forced to only communicate in that language, you can start to effectively communicate within a few weeks or a couple months, and even become fluent within a few months. I was always hoping Nate would have done that with Bayless because he definitely has potential but he never did. Now it just seems he's not Nate's type. But Armon could be.

As for dealing with tayc, every time I talk to him he reminds me of a scene in the movie Idiocracy (one of my favorites). So i uploaded it to show you how I really feel. ha ha I gave it a special title.

Tom, lol my roommate and i just had the biggest laugh at what the fight-instigating troll said. that is, what we could understand of his incoherent blabbering. the only thing wrong with coming here and commenting on the rhetoric is that it's just way too easy. well, maybe that's what makes it so entertaining!

that's exactly what i was thinking about Jerryd. he's got potential, but his style is not suited for Nate's system. it's not wrong, just different. that being said, he still has some value to us this year as we transition the rookies into the nba style.

I think Bayless works fine in Nate's system. He just needs to buck up, quit being a pansy, and accept being a role player. Losing Bayless would be crucial to the franchises success, you aren't going to be able to win a championship with a couple of great players and a bunch of garbage players. He'd be better off accepting it, and he'd probably be a better overall team player if he did accept it. We need Bayless though. I don't want the Blazers to give him up.

Kassandra, the funniest part was his first paragraph where you can tell in his tiny mind he is so excited because he is laying down some of the most incredible irony and wit that anyone human has ever laid eyes on and he has put forth the greatest delivery any man has ever done in the history of mankind to discredit and taunt you. But it fell way short and came across as "derrrrrr, ha ha ha ha doy ha yap yap!" And his random overuse and misplacement of commas, periods and the word "like" always crack me up. ha ha
but seriously, ha ha ha ha ha ha

And LAS, could you say it one more time? I didn't quite get it! ha ha
But I do agree partly with your assessment of Bayless, he needs to know his role, but I still think that is part of the coach's fault, and the way he used to always yank JBay after one mistake had to mess with his mind a little. Realistically, I do see Bayless fitting in better in a system that has a much faster pace, where he doesn't have to be the main distributor, not in our slowed down to almost a complete halt offense.

I like JBAY. I like his heart. But, he's a cub, still a little wreckless. He's going at full speed all the time and he needs to learn how to harness it. In his defense, he has put in obvious work on his jumper. It looked more like a shot as opposed to the push it used to resemble. nate knows how to use him. he doesnt let him get to out of control. bayless at times looks to retaliate on opposing teams who he feels has wronged him on a previous play. Its at those times that not even the ground is going to get an opportunity to touch the ball, because he's shooting it or taking it hard to the rack. I believ Nate has taught this kid what Rudy is also learning. None of you are bigger than this game. We need JBay. He's got a fire burning. How appropriate is that when you consider that we are BLAZEr's. Wesley i believe will be a good influence on him if he allows it. Wesley has already put a lot of slackers on notice, bring your A+ game, cause im gunning for that number 1 spot.

Tom, and have you ever noticed that when we bring up multiple points pointing out how inanely stupid he's being, he just ignores them in his following response? in all actuality, he obviously agrees with it all! it's just so funny to see his endless incoherent rambling. i bet in school he's in special ed. what a sad story.

i can see your opinion of Jerryd. maybe not fitting into Nate's system wasn't quite the best way to put it. i think there are other styles of offense that fit Jerryd's method of play better. i don't see him as a whiner or someone with a bad work ethic. like presumably every player, he wants to play more. that's completely understandable. as with many of our players, we'll just have to see what transpires over the course of the year.

I think a rift of negativity is forming amongst some Blazer fans.
You have fans that love Rudy, and want to see him perform no matter the cost.
Then you have fans that want to win, so we keep bashing on Nate to let Jerryd play.

Batum? How could anyone even think about trading that guy, he's AMAZING

Tom: i didn't think you were referring to me with that; i figured it was to Las. i was talking about the blazers in the last message, so probably to both of you.

Tobyus: all the negativity toward Rudy aside, i think many fans see that there is a logjam at sg/sf and that one player should probably be traded (from the people to whom i've spoken over the summer, most seem to be more excited about Wesley than Rudy). now, pull the negative attitudes back inside and many feel that Rudy most fits that bill. i agree with you about Nicolas. for a lot of us, he gets a bit better every time we see him.
