Ball Don't Lie says it's still Kobe over LeBron...
In January 2010, The Q Scores Company took a poll of the general population and found that 24 percent of people thought of James in a positive light, compared to a 22 percent negative opinion.

Henry Schafer, executive vice president of the company, told CNBC that the average sports personality has a 15 percent positive score and a 24 percent negative score.

"LeBron's positive score at that time was the highest we had ever seen it," Schafer said.

But since "The Decision" show on July 8, things have gone seriously downhill for the NBA star.

    LeBron's Q Score today?

Schafer says that now only 14 percent of the general population see him as a positive figure, a 41.6 percent drop, while 39 percent view him in a negative light, a 77 percent decline.

In fact, LeBron is now the sixth most disliked sports personality, according to The Q Score Company, behind Michael Vick, Tiger Woods, Terrell Owens, Chad Ochocinco and Kobe Bryant.

So who is your most disliked player in the NBA? LBJ takes the cake for me with Kobe and Carmelo right behind him. Really, most of the Nuggets are unlikable; I can't stand Martin or Smith.

There is only 1 player in the NBA that I can not stand.

    Kobe Bryant.

Multiple reasons can be given both on and off court behaviour ..

    On court ..
    1. His instigation and fight with Reggie Miller .. where Miller whooped his arse, to which Shaq had to run over and break them up ..

    Off court..
    1. His allegedly raping a woman.

No other player in the league as of this post do I hate. As for James, I have liked the player since his HS days and have lost alotta respect for him for his antic's prior to and after the games while he was with the Cav's ..

Lebron the player is one of my favorites (as is Ricky Rubio) and I will continue to follow him for the rest of his career (As I will for Rubio when/if he enter's the NBA).

I dont get how people dont like Kobe's game on the court... he is a great competitor and maybe the greatest player this game has ever seen (when he retires) and let me just say this much. You are a bandwagon fan if you say you dislike a player but then would love him if he played for the blazers lol. If Kobe somehow made his way to the blazers like three years ago, everyone would love him here.
But i dislike Amare, Garnett, and Lebron

Really, outside of Billups and Lawson, the entire Thugget team irritates me.  It's unfortunate they might be dismantled...LOL!

Gilbert Arenas, Kobe Bryant. All time though is probably Michael Jordan. My friends kid wrote him daily fan letters and what not and not one reply. Wrote Shaq once and got all sorts of replies. At that time Shaq played for the Magic . Now I am not against making a buck, but you would think Jordan could have hired just a few people to answer fan letters but I guess he would rather sit at home and rub himself with all his money while not caring that the only reason he got so much is from the fans he snubbed. That and the fact that they changed the rules of traveling to accomodate " Air" Jordain. Julius Erving seemed to do just fine with the old rules.
    1. Gilbert for being a moron thug who should be in prison and banned from the NBA
    2. Kobe for being a whinny A@@ lil girl on the court. As far as raping a girl I think she just wanted money and her 15 mins and he was stupid for letting himself be put into that situation.

Why does everyone hate Kobe?  Of course he's not exactly a saint off the court, but neither was MJ, and he's considered the best of all time and everyone looks up to him.  Kobe's the NBA's best player, and the only player who has come straight out of high school in the 90s and hasn't declined.  That's a mark of excellence if you ask me.

But more to the point, here's who I hate:

    1.  Pau Gasol
    2.  Luis Scola
    3.  Michael Beasley
    4.  Jason Terry
    5.  (tie) J.R. Smith and Eduardo Najera

    1. Kobe, i was forced to listen to a lot of L.A. talk radio when he was always whining about wanting out, prior to them stealing Pau Gasol.
    2. Lebron, although this may change once he starts playing with the Heat, I don't enjoy watching iso-motion while the rest of your team stands around, watching this guy in Cleveland reminded me of Damon Wayans character in Celtic Pride, he'd pass the ball and it would nearly hit people in the face because they weren't ready for it.
    3. Joe Johnson, mostly for the same reason as I dislike Lebron, he's probably a great guy, but the way he plays makes the hawks one of my least favorite teams to watch.

I think most people hate Kobe cause he's a self-entitled, arrogant jerk who was accused of rape.  LeBron basically crapped on his hometown team that was capable of winning a title and did it on national television.  Those are some main reasons why people hate these players, not because they're good.  Fans don't hate these guys blindly.

Since when has there become a new way to win championships. Like really Bro, you think people like Larry Bird Magic Johnson, and Micheal Jordan  Fu**ing won by themselves?
NO!NO!NO!NO! Obviously you dont know. Magic johnson, played with Kareem abdul jabarr, fool, next to wilt he's set the 2nd most records, maybe been reset now but still.
Larry bird and the Celtics had a DREAM TEAM. Danny ainge, kevin mchale, omg ROBERT PARRISH.
Jordan couldnt of asked for a better go to guy than scottie pippen. Like what is the difference now?
I dont see any, all i see are great players Finally F'ing realizing that they dont have to wait their entire career before they can play on good team and make it a great one.
I look at Los angles, Gasol, Bynum, hell Odom is their 6th man, thats how stacked they are, Their starters are so good that Odom, one of the most underrated players in every damn aspect of the game, comes off the bench.
The Celtrics and their Big 4,5
    Now LeBron Wade and Bosh.
I mean have a little more faith in your team and you wont be hatin on so many other players. People could say the blazers are doing the same thing the heat did, except their trying to get the youngest roster in history, their youth and under rated talent, thats something to hate on right there. I mean the starters are almost all first round picks, and like before the 15th choice, like really, why isnt this team Burnin.

like really how can anyone who watches basketball even say Lebron sucks, like you know that is so untrue, be like trying to convince people that the sky isnt blue, or something dumb, you should be fined.25 thou

    nicolas batum 25th, Roy 6th, Camby 2nd, LA 2nd, Miller 8th, Bayless 11th, Babbitt 16th, Przbylla 9th, Matthews undrafted, AJ 34th, EW 22nd, Dante 33rd, Rudy 24th, Oden 1st, Penderbeast 31st.

    Team average draft position: 14.933
    Starter average draft position: 8.6

Due to the Jailblazer era TayC's point of our players draft position is correct and we have gotten a good amount of talent, however we have also had the right people making the right moves to acquire all this talent legitimately and not have to sacrifice our integrity or public appearance. (not counting the KP issues)

personally I am not a fan of
    1. J.R. Smith/Carlos Boozer- Their bad attitudes and beleif that being a bully is more an aspect of the NBA than talent.
    2. Zach Randolph - Given so many chances and he has proven himself to be a waste of talent, he can score and rebound but he cannot be a team player or leader.
    3. - Kobe - Respect his ability and talent, however respect =/= like, his arrogance on and off the court and his ego have me wishing he would retire sooner than later.  In regards to his alleged rape, I beleive it was a woman trying to use extortion, however there was consentual sex therefore, rape or not, he still cheated on his wife and he is a slimeball.

Chris Anderson ranks way up there. All time, MJ from the day that he took the eyes closed foul shots. It's won thing to beat another team, it's the worst to do it and try to humiliate them with a stunt like that. I love watching him get fatter and fatter and being part of a losing organization. Loved watching him play baseball also. Nothing better than an MJ strikeout.

You hope I'm not a grown man? Why because I have my own opinions?  It is clear that YOU are a child, and a "school yard chum".
It seems like in almost every post you have on here you're trashing someones opinions. REAL MATURE!
Clearly LeBron James doesn't suck as a basketball player, I'm not dumb.
I was referring to him as a person, that's usually why you hate somebody, because of their personality.
Perhaps if you we're a little older and more mature @TayC, you would know this.
I hope you're not a "grown man", because your spelling/attitude is that of a 6th grade boy going through puberty.
Have you been skipping your English classes?
Grow up, if you don't agree with what somebody has too say, you can respectfully disagree without throwing in insults.
Oh and by the way, I have 2 kids, and I'm a senior in College with a 3.8 GPA, while working 36 hrs on my 3 day weekends so I can support
my family and go to school at the same time. I'm only 21, probably the most "GROWN MAN" at my age you will ever have a conversation with.
Hope to see your attitude change a bit around here.

Ron Artest, no doubt.  No one has said Raja Bell?  those guys have a horrible attitude.  Tony parker, Steve Nash mostly because I can't stand watching him or Nowitzky pushing their hair behind their ears.  No pro athelete should look so feminine.  Jermaine O'neal.  What a punk.  How about Pau gasol and his faces he pulls.  Obviously I love Kobe's game, but the attitude is horrible.  I don't understand anyone hating on Lebron or KD.  Lebron unlike Kobe takes all of the responsibility for losing in every interview and works harder than anyone.  KD is quiet and just wins why would you hate a guy who doesn't talk trash or play dirty, (or look like a girl)?

Wow. i hope your not a grown man, because those reasons are straight up foolish.
Because he's a laker. hahahah, sound like a schoolyard chum.
Hating on someone for their attitude or the way the play is decent reason
And LeBron sucks, and cant win a champoinship the old fashion way, wtf does that even mean dude.?

While Lebron is one of my favorite none Blazer players in the league an world ..

I have grown to hate the way he was acting prior to games (The "Picture") and all that stuff .. he lost alotta my admiration and respect overall for all that.

I however still absolutly love how unstoppable the guy is on the court, (his antics aside) the guy is simply the best there is in the league .. and has been for multiple years now.

Right, and that was'nt a threat. It was a statement. Now if I said "I'm GOING to smack the taste out of your mouth", that would be a threat, but that's not what I said. I wasn't "dissin" LeBron, I simply stated that I didn't like him as a person for the fact that he up and left Cleveland in a dsrespectful fashion, and pretty much embarrassed the franchise on national TV. He could have went about it in a different way. Before "the Decision", I loved LeBron. He's an amazing athlete and arguably one of the best players in the league at this point. He carried a franchise for 6-7(?) years. How can you not argue that he's one of the greatest right now?  Regardless, I'm done argueing. Have a good one.

    Up and left?
Llike you said he gave them 6-7 years, he inspired those fans everyday, and when the rest of his teamates failed to play their best in the games that mattered, the blame shifted to LeBron, but when the team would win, it would always be because of someone else, other than LeBron, or the team as a whole would be credited.
And i mean, heres a guy who has been coming out every night for the past few years throwing up border line triple double type numbers, involving his teamates in the most interesting ways weve seen. But they cant play their hearts out for one game for him, and he gives them his all, every night.

THE GUY JUST WANTS TO WIN!!!

LeBron did not sign up to play basketball because of girls, or money, or fame, he signed up to win, and all the people that dissagree with that statement are the same reason why he left.
He was tired of going out everynight, and having the limelight be on him, not because his team won their division, or because they clinched their playoff berth,m but because he's out there doiing everything he can and he still cant win.

Like really, think about this, if Micheal didnt win when he did, and everyone knew how damn bad he wanted that trophy, you dont think he would left?
Say Phil didnt coach the bulls, and Micheal was stuck with the same lame coach for 6-7 years?

Sidenote** The blazers staff must feel like the biggest idiots for taking Sam Bowie over   MJ, like really, Blazers had number 2 pick, and Hakeem the dream was drafted first, MJ 3rd.WOW.

LeBron did what was in the best interest for him, and for that he's become the most hated player in the nba, why?
Show me where all the selfless people live in this country, please do. It is his own life, he can decide wheather he wants to stay at second best for the next few years or perhaps take a shot at number one, now please show any person in this country that would not take that chance.....
And its not like he was married to Cleveland, like people trip on that. Its funny because Cleveland really didnt give LeBron anything, minus the shoes to match his jersey, what did they give him? What?
Where as LeBron had boosted the city of clevelands econmy a total of $500 million since he had been there, he had every seat filled at home games, he showed the rest of the country that not every sports team in Ohio sucks... He gave them all that, he gave, and gave, and when people doubted him, he lived up to the hype and more.
As for the decision show, it really isnt that hard to understand. If you had turned on a television in the 2 weeks that preceded the week of july 8th, you would of found on just about every channel, some one, talking about LeBron. The HYPE was CRAZYYY. Rumors flew in by the minute, all kinds of hopes and guesses flooded the country.
LeBron to NY, LeBron to MIA, LeBron to CHI, LeBron to LAC, LeBron to LAL, even mored crazed rumors like swear to god
Phil Jackson to follow LeBron so he can say he's coached the 3 greatest players. It was a mad house, no one even knew if LeBron was saying these things himself, and really no one cared, because they just wanted to know.
So what does my man do, come one thursday evening he decided to have an hour special on ESPN, where he would release his decision to the public. I remember watching sportscenter right before it came on, and sure enough There Micheal Wilbon talking about where LeBrons headed, and even he couldnt say for sure, all these guys, GROWN MEN ON TV, with a someone anxious child on christmas look in their eyes.

My point is, everyone wanted to know, but no one could believv anything, LeBron wanted all these people to see that the words were coming from his mouth, the HE, WANTED TO GO TO MIAMI, TO WIN.
He didnt say ," go to miami because i am attempting to create a superteam that will monopolize the NBA"
    No, get real.
So, in reality we should be drilling any player who is significantly good, when they decide to change teams. We should go to their hometown and burn theirr jerseys, because thats what civilized people do, right?

The fans and the media blew this mess up, and ruined LeBrons rep, and you know it really hurts to see that the "fans" are not really fans at all. Theyre more like animals, wild animals, and if you dont give them what they want, they will bite back. And i guess some could argue that, sports are for the fans, but theyre not really, now days theyre not. Its so that athletes can have a profession at really, athleticisim, to show the world their skills.
I only want the best for LeBron, because there are people in this world that think they can just do whatever they feel fit, and for fans across the world to persecute a person, an athlete for what they desire or believe in, its just wrong, and in this country it seems like we still have yet to conquer that problem.

Power to you LeBron, i dont want you to win because your on probably the best team in ages, but because you want to win.
