If all u guys and girls watched the 2009 playoffs i think u would have to agree that bayless had a couple a clutch(mod edit, pls watch language) plays against the suns. This is my opinion but i think bayless had the best series out of miller and rudy

He was pretty sharp at times but in terms of team chemistry i would say keep Miller as starting PG mostly because he is unhappy in a bench role and unhappy players dont produce as well, however if we shop Miller, start Bayless, barring we trade for a formidable proven start worthy pg.

Bayless could POTENTIALLY start.  gotta agree with fallen_deity.  We start miller first, and Bayless will be our backup PG.  If it doesn't happen in this season, then it will definitely happen next season: One or even both will get traded.  Most likely Miller, but I find it possible both could get traded.  However, in the case that Miller gets traded, Bayless will start.

Call me a dreamer, but i'd love to see the day when Nate could pull Roy & Miller off the floor at the same time, and insert Bayless & Matthews. Something about the tenacity of Matthews and the ferocity of JBay in the backcourt together has me feeling like a super hero. Id also love a second unit of JBay,Matthews, Cunningham, Camby, and the Vanilla Gorilla Pryzbilla. Obviously a few glitches keep this dream of mine from coming to fruition. Such as, where would the points come from? The key to the second units success would rely on Bayless. He's got to run the plays to perfection, get people where they're supposed to be,master the pick & roll, take advantage of his own opportunities, and lollygag about doing it. JBay is one of the strongest guards in the game. If he exercised patience in his game, and kept the Tazmanian leashed until necessary, that boy would be nasty.
If i could give J one gift, it'd be Nash's handles.

I wouldnt post something like this dude... there are lots of people on this site who hate bayless seriously. But i agree that in the future he could be the starting point guard, but for this year, I say let him get more minutes off the bench

Though i am a big fan of bayless and i always seen his as the future pg, im not sure the coaching staff feels the same... i admit he deserves a chance & i always said miller is a progress stopper... the only way i see bayless becoming starter potential is if he cuts down on his turnovers and his poor decision making... if he can fix those things then im all for hin starting.... he would also have to fine tune his perimeter shooting.

bayless has a killer instinct to score. you can see he's hungry and if he can make more of a transition to point he can definitely start. (since his natural position is more of a combo guard)

I'm not big on Bayless.  He really needs to either develop a jumper or like Miller, realize that he cant shoot and just work on finding ways to score inside.  He may end up developing into a quality pg but untill that happens I'd give Miller and Maybe even Armon more minutes than Bayless.
I am a fan of the Blazers draft selections. Feels good to finally be able to say that

I seriously think Bayless has all the talent in the world to be a PG .. but that is not his mentality ..

His gift is not to feed other players unfortunatly, his gift is to score in bunches it would seem. Dude has serious upside as a SG .. if ever given that role on the floor albeit a small SG ..

I think Armon will surprise alotta Blazer fans, and I hope that he wins the PG battle currently going on between himself an Mills .. (nothing against Mills, I just prefure a PG that can defend both positions and Mills is severly lacking in that ability)

All in all Nothing an no one is going to take that PG spot from Miller as long as Nate is the head coach, he hates to play lesser exp'ed players .. But I honestly feel Armon is going to turn alotta heads this year as a PG.

My Dream line up for the team as it sits right now.
    C - Oden
    PF- Aldridge
    SF- Batum
    SG- Roy
PG- (A)Bayless (this is of course only if B-Rex ever developed that PG mentality of course barring that)
PG- (B)Armon (This feller is going to surprise alotta people)
