    From Brian Smith-
#Blazers' Oden: "I will be ready for training camp." Oden has lost weight and has an ideal number in mind. Said he feels great.
#Blazers' Oden would not reveal idea weight or how many pounds he has lost. But he said he's making an effort to slim down and is not done.
#Blazers' Oden will meet Monday with a doctor for a regular update. Said there's no doubt he'll be ready for camp.
Lastly, Oden has been working out in Indiana with #Blazers' Medina. Oden looks slimmer than he has in at least a year.
Good news regarding the big fella. Hopefully he can slim down, maybe rock some knee pads, and be ready to go for the 2011 campaign!

i completely agree with the knee pads. It may feel bulky, but i think it will help him play with confidence. He should keep the flat top too. Then he'll REALLY look like patrick ewing!

Lets just hope he can stay healthy this year not just for our sake as fans, but so that he can actually get some game time experience.

I agree with the knee pads. It might not look "cool" and may feel weird for the first couple of weeks, but it's a smart idea at this point in time. We still believe in you G.O.!

Good to hear, but I still want to see it on the court.
Going on the 4th year, knee pads shouldnt even be up for discussion, he just needs to wear them.

Saw him being interviewed last night on Sports Sunday and there's some good news and some bad news. The good news is he looks slim but the bad news is, he has cut off his 90's high-top fade :(

I saw that too. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. We have passed twice. I have to see Greg on the court before I get excited.

cmeese47 - The only thing we know about JJ''s defensive skills was they sucked when playing against true big men at the 5.  We know nothing of his defensive side at the four.  We do know he dominates the boards, he plays in...

Exactamundo. Seriously though, both of you''ll are right. The blame should be placed on the attacker, not Lillard. That being said, Dame should have stepped in.

Sanders is 6''11" Cailin he is about 5 pounds lighter than LA so his size should not be an issue.

I completely agree. Pierce would bring a culture change. And we as a team really needed someone to help our young players through the tough times. Jeffires and Pavlovic were veterans who didn''t see much court time and from what I saw didn''t real...

Joakim Noah has had his injury troubles. His crazy game and high energy make him a constant injury threat. What separates him from Oden and Rose (I had to just mention him) is his willingness to play the way he loves.
