Well, that's what REALGM is speculating-
Kevin Pritchard has emerged as a leading candidate to replace Jeff Bower as general manager of the Hornets.

Pritchard worked with head coach Monty Williams while the two were in Portland.

"I don't want to comment about somebody we might be considering, " Williams said of Pritchard. "But I worked for him, and he did a lot to help that organization (Portland)."

Besides Pritchard, the Hornets could also consider former Cleveland Cavaliers general manager Danny Ferry, former Golden State general manager Chris Mullin, Detroit Pistons President of Basketball Operations Joe Dumars, former New Jersey Nets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe and Denver Nuggets Vice President of Basketball Operations Mark Warkentien, whose contract will not be renewed for the upcoming season.

i know i was being sarcastic. But if anything if there is a guy he really likes on this team that he helped draft, i could see him making us a pitch.... hopefully he doesn't get the job though.

Another small market franchise he can help turn around. If he gets the job, he will have some repor with Monty and will look to fix up the team.

I hope he goes to the Nets. He wont trade CP3 for anything, I at least have a little glimmer of hope that CP3 will get traded to Portland. If KP goes there, that hope gets squashed.

Rudy-Przybilla-Miller for CP3.  That's about the only possibility.

Actually I think you'd have to give them Bayless with those three.  Espn says it'd work (try http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine)...  The rotation would work out where You'd run Paul 38 minutes and give 5 apiece to Armon and Patty as reserves.  Run Matthews 20 minutes a game to back up Roy and Batum.  Losing Pryzbilla would open up for more time for Camby, and knowing how good he is could play 25 minutes a game behind LA and Oden.

It seems to me some telling signs are starting to emerge in the Kevin Pritchard saga. After what "he did" with Portland and the way he is at talking with people, I'd have thought he was a shoe in on every interview he's gone into. Now atleast three teams have passed the buck on him since he was fired. There has got to be something they know that our fans don't. Portland, with all that has happened, this may be a sign that we need to take off our Rose colored glasses off because we were the biggest Pritchslap victims of all. This is a sign that for everything KP apparently wasn't, it sounds like Rich Cho is. Maybe the fans need to stop being upset about KP and embrace Cho.

You hit the nail on the head RCR..we, as fans, really don't know what went on behind the scenes with KP and the rest of the organization, which is why I have reserved my judgment/opinion on the whole saga.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
