    Blazers face another tough decision with injury-plagued Oden

     The Blazers have too much invested in Oden to simply cut ties with him because of injuries. He was their No. 1 pick, after all, and they touted him in all their marketing campaigns. For obvious reasons, they can't give up on him just yet, even if he has created serious doubts about his future.
    Obviously Greg is my favorite player, but he brings up a good point. At what point do we cut ties with Greg or do we ride it out, with so much already invested?

    Personally, I would extend him somewhere in the 4 years, 20 million dollar range. Its a very low risk, high reward and shows Oden we still have faith in him. What could be even worse than him missing 2 full seasons, could be us giving up hope on him and him turning into a good, serviceable center for another team.
