Against the Golden State Warriors, Meyers Leonard had a breakout performance, racking up career-highs left and right as he tallied 22 points and 10 rebounds in over 40 minutes of action as he started for the injured LaMarcus Aldridge. If Aldridge doesn't travel with the team to Utah, expect Leonard to once again get the start and play heavy minutes. He was able to use both his soft touch around the rim and his athleticism to rack up those points against a solid Warrior front-line featuring Andrew Bogut, David Lee, Festus Ezeli, and Carl Landry. Now he must go up against an even better trio of poster players in Paul Millsap, Al Jefferson, and Derrick Favors. Watch for Meyers' consistency tonight. Does he look timid? Or does he come out aggressive from the jump, looking for his shot and trying to dunk everything in sight? I think we'll see the latter out of our rook tonight and if he can have the same type of offensive impact tonight as he did Saturday night, this could go a long ways in his development and boost his confidence over the final month of the season.
