Game 5: Trail Blazers @ Mavericks Thread
After being apart of the greatest fourth quarter comeback in Trail Blazers playoff history, the Trail Blazers tie up the series and head to Dallas on Monday for Game Five. The Trail Blazers ended the game on a 40-15 run, in which Brandon Roy scored 18 of his 24 in the fourth. Not only does the 84-82 win signify a tied series, but for the last six quarters, the Trail Blazers have held the Mavs to 123 points, just barely a 20 point per quarter average. Dallas had very few open looks, which shows how well Portland has adjusted to the pick and roll. But now it appears Portland has found an offensive rhythm with Roy penetrating the defense. If there was ever a time for the Blazers to win a road game in Dallas, it will be Game Five. After having the series in hand, Dallas now must deal with feelings of "here we go again" as their past playoff performances will put doubt in their minds.
So Rip City, is this the game Portland takes in Dallas?
