Game 3: Trail Blazers vs. Mavericks Thread
They say the series doesn't truly begin until the road team wins a game. Luckily for the Trail Blazers, the next two games will be in the friendly confines of the Rose Garden, in front of the most rabid fan bases in the entire NBA. Portland can quickly make this a series again by taking the next two and forcing a pivotal Game Five in Dallas. But, before we even think about heading back to Dallas tied up at 2, the Trail Blazers have a lot to work on. Once again, they allowed Dallas open shots from downtown (8-19) and couldn't keep Dirk off of the foul line (15-17). And the bench needs much more production than 11 points, especially when Dallas gets 39 from theirs. Even though the Trail Blazers have done things uncharacteristically in each game (2-16 from 3 in Game 1, 18-27 FT in Game 2), Portland finds a way to turn it up a notch in the Rose City.
So Rip City, how can the Blazers turn the series around?
