Game 1: Trail Blazers @ Mavericks Thread
The Trail Blazers wrapped up the regular season with a 48-34 mark, good enough for the sixth seed and a playoff date with the Dallas Mavericks. In the four-game season series, the two teams split with each winning twice on their home floor. Although the season series is knotted at two games a piece, since the acquisition of Gerald Wallace, the Trail Blazers are 2-0 against the Mavericks, winninga hotly contested battle, 104-101, on March 15th and running away with a 104-96 victory on April 3rd. This will be the fourth time these two franchises will have played one another in the postseason (1985, 1990, 2003) with the Trail Blazers holding a 2-1 edge. And everyone remembers the Mavs jumping out to a 3-0 series lead in 2003 before the Blazers fought back to force a Game 7. It all starts Saturday night in Big D! Let's get it on!
So Rip City, how can the Trail Blazers steal Game 1?
