Trail Blazers vs. Lakers Game Thread
Trail Blazers v. Lakers: Round 4. Let's get it on! Coming off of a commanding win in Utah Thursday night, the Trail Blazers must play their arch rivals, the Lakers, in the Rose Garden tomorrow on the second night of back-to-back. Although the Blazers are 0-3 this year against the Lakers, outside of the first contest in November, Portland controlled the game late into the 4th before giving way to Kobe and co. Back on February 23rd, Portland had the L.A. down 7 with under 2 minutes to play but couldn't seal the deal, eventually losing 101-106 in OT. On March 20th, the Blazers held a 5 point lead throughout the 2nd half until Marcus Camby had to leave the game with an injury and then it all went downhill from there and L.A. took another close one, 84-80. While the Lakers have won their past 2 games in the Rose City, the Trail Blazers took the previous 9, still giving them a decided advantage in the friendly confines of the RG.
So Rip City, how can the Blazers avoid the season sweep?
