Trail Blazers @ Jazz Game Thread
After the wake-up call that was Tuesday night against Golden State, Portland must now rebound quickly and tackle their remaining four games with vengeance. The loss pulled them even with the Hornets in the loss column and since N.O. has the tiebreaker, we are essentially in 7th if the Hornets win tonight. It was apparent the Trail Blazers were overlooking the lottery team from the Bay and in April, during playoff chases, you just can't get away with it. Hopefully this loss ignites the team as they start their home stretch with Utah Thursday night at the Salt Palace. Historically, the Trail Blazers don't have much success in Salt Lake (61-16), but they did knock off Utah at home in December, 96-91. Also, this is the first time Portland has faced the new-look Jazz without Deron Williams. Finally, it looks like Devin Harris, who's missed a few games, will be back in the lineup by the time tipoff rolls around.
So Rip City, can Portland complete the sweep of Utah in Salt Lake City?
