Trail Blazers @ Timberwolves Game Thread
After dispatching the Raptors and Pistons, the Trail Blazers look to make it a clean sweep against the Wolves on Monday night. With the Nuggets faltering tonight in Memphis, the Blazers are now tied in the loss column for 6th and are only a game behind the Hornets for 5th. While the Blazers will be tired after playing two, down-to-the-wire finishes, they see the All-Star Break in sight and want no part in breaking their 15 game winning streak over the Wolves.
Without Camby and Roy, Portland is down in talent which is why they need to continue to let Aldridge touch the ball on every possession. In his past three contests, La has put up 42 on Chicago, 37 on Toronto, and 36 on Detroit, making him the first Trail Blazer to score 36 or more points in three straight games. Like the previous two road games, Portland must be aggressive and look to score. Minnesota gives up 108 a night, tops in the league. Also, the Wolves have only won three times when allowing the opposition to break the century mark. continue
